Tin Ore in My Time At Sandrock

Tin Ore is one step above normal Copper Ore, and it can be mined with a basic Pickhammer. They can be found inside the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins relatively frequently. To gain access to the ruins, players must first finish the Picking Up The Slack quest, which involves installing a grain lift connected to the underground complex.

Players must reach the third layer of the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins before they start seeing veins of Tin Ore. To go down deeper into the ruins, scan the current floor and look for an open Passageway. Occasionally, these are buried under dirt or rubble. If this is the case, just dig through the obstruction to reach the door leading to the next layer.

Alternatively, players can purchase Tin Ore from the Eufaula Salvage Shop found southeast of the player's workshop. A single piece of Tin Ore costs 8 Gols, and the shop can have up to 30 pieces at a time. The shop's stock of Tin Ore may get refreshed daily, though this isn't guaranteed. Players are advised to mine manually if they intend to get a stockpile of Tin Ore.

Tin Ore is an essential component for the smelting of Bronze, which in turn is needed for a new tier of craftable items. This includes new weapons, equipment, crafting stations, and refined resources. When going on a Tin Ore run, it's best to gather Copper as well, as both are needed to make Bronze.

In case players are confused about what quests to do in order to unlock the Eufaula Salvage Abandoned Ruins, complete the following ones first:

  1. Welcome to Sandrock!
  2. The New Builder
  3. Becoming Official
  4. First Day on the Job

Keep in mind that while there's no entrance fee for the Abandoned Ruins, players still need to pay a weekly fee of 200 Gols if they want to keep delving down its depths.
