In My Time at Sandrock, players take on commissions to make money and improve their relationships with the villagers. Players need to upgrade their My Time at Sandrock crafting stations to take on bigger and better commissions and make even more money.

My Time at Sandrock's Crafting Stations

Crafting Stations allows players to smelt, grind, create, cook, and more. Although the builder will begin with some basic crafting stations to build, they will soon need more. In the previous title in the series called My Time at Portia, players had to research these stations at random. But this system has been massively improved for Sandrock.

The location of how to get new Crafting Stations is the same; players will still need to head to the Research Center. This building is located in the middle-right part of the town's map. Look for the research logo on the side of the building.

Inside the building, players will find Qi. This socially awkward young man is one of the many romance options in My Time at Sandrock. He can supply the player with new blueprints for new Crafting Stations in exchange for Data Discs.

Getting New Crafting Stations in My Time at Sandrock

After players have found Qi, interact with him and press the disc on his interaction menu. A new menu will pop up, offering up all sorts of blueprints. This menu has multiple pages. In order to unlock the next row of stations, players will have to unlock the full row above first.

Each crafting station costs a base amount of Data Discs. These can be found in the abandoned mines by digging up the ground and purchased from some shops in town.

Usually, it takes a couple of days to a week to get the blueprint once it's been ordered. This can be sped up with more Data Discs. Once complete, the blueprint will be delivered to the builder's mailbox.

Building New Crafting Stations

In order to build new crafting stations once the blueprint has been received, players need to use the Assembly Station. The Assembly Station must be used to create all the larger items like the Sandrock Recycler, Furnace, and some quest items like the stage pieces and the tresses of the bridge.

Interact with the ghost of the crafting station to add each of the ingredients individually, like bronze bars or My Time at Sandrock bearings.

Once crafted, players will need to place the new crafting station in their video game rural town, then fill it with fuel. Also, don't forget to keep the water tank filled to keep the machine cool and keep the crafting stations free of dust and sand with a feather duster to keep them running at max efficacy.

My Time at Sandrock is available in Early Access for PC.
