My Hero Ultra Rumble takes Studio Bones' highly acclaimedMy Hero Academia and conjures up an amazing battle royale video game. It offers an incredible experience that allows fans to play as some of their favorite My Hero Academia characters. In My Hero Ultra Rumble, players will use their favorite fighters to fight against other teams, loot various sections of the map for loot, and rescue civilians who get lost in the rubble.

The title has been hailed as one that exceeds expectations, but that doesn't mean that certain aspects ought to be reworked or updated. Various parts of My Hero Ultra Rumble have stood out as either painful mistakes or features that should be updated with more content.

5 More Maps And/Or A Bigger Map

The battle royale map

The map that players will start on in My Hero Ultra Rumble isn't necessarily small, but it is easily traversed and can get crowded in the worst of times. The map, which resembles the U.S.J. (Unforeseen Simulation Joint), has various sections, trying to make the map feel different with each section players wander into. However, the sections are painfully small. Places such as the Fire Zone and the Collapse Zone are wonderful on their own, but they're very small.

For how small each section is, it's nearly impossible to truly cultivate gear and a foundation within an area. The largest issue is the amount of crowding that happens in the U.S.J., where multiple teams fall upon each other while the circle is just starting to close. Crowding in My Hero Ultra Rumble just happens too often to be ignored. With the map becoming stale as is, My Hero Ultra Rumble could add more maps to the game. This would give the opportunity for larger maps to hold more places to loot and areas for teams to catch their breath.

4 Character Balance Issues

My-Hero-Ultra-Rumble-2-1

The number one issue with My Hero Ultra Rumble is that almost none of the characters are entirely balanced. In fact, several characters are so unbalanced that they've become infamous for being 'broken' and ridding opposing teams of their chances of victory. Although this can be countered by playing the same 'broken' characters, it would be better if fans could play any character they want and have fun.

Bakugo, Tomura, and Dabi all have very unbalanced features, making them treacherous monsters on the battlefield. Although those are all strike characters, they can still deal with a bit of balancing to their damage output, because both fighters have the potential to down enemies within a single combo. If all characters receive buffs/nerfs, the entire roster will be much more playable, and gamers of all types can ultimately have much more fun.

3 Different Game Modes

The game modes menu

Since the release of My Hero Ultra Rumble in September 2023, there has only been one game mode that players could load up: Trios. Players get together in teams of three to tackle the map in My Hero Ultra Rumble, but what about solos? Or even duos? Adding at least one or two more game modes to My Hero Ultra Rumble will make the game much more versatile, especially for those who want to achieve victory on their own.

Combat is key in a successful battle royale game, which is why these battle royales have done so well for themselves.

Though the 3v3 format isn't bad in itself, friends may have a fourth person, which would require a four-person squad game mode. Having different game modes would make the gameplay experience of My Hero Ultra Rumble easier to consume for those who don't necessarily like 3v3 video games, let alone battle royales.

2 Lack Of Item Shop Content & Cosmetics

The standard shop

As players progress throughout the License season pass and level up their profile, they will unlock various cosmetic options that they can equip on their characters and banners. Players can also visit the item shops to use their coins and other resources to purchase various items, but these shops are fairly lacking. The standard shop doesn't have anything of interest, aside from gallery pieces and standard banners. The premium shop has even less, as it just offers Roll Tickets and such.

Aside from that, cosmetics themselves have run short in My Hero Ultra Rumble. Some characters don't have more than four options concerning costumes, while others, like Deku, have an arsenal of outfits they can wear. My Hero Ultra Rumble needs to include many more cosmetics, that preferably aren't just color palette swaps of other costumes.

1 Glitches & Bugs

Ochaco shooting her wire

My Hero Ultra Rumble has its fair share of bugs and glitches that many players have encountered. Mostly, the bugs have derived from specific characters while using their different abilities. For example, Ochaco's Zodiac Wire frequently shoots off-screen and propels nowhere near where the player is aiming, even clipping into structures at some points.

Cementoss also has several glitches while using his cement-related quirk, which has affected players in infuriating ways. With these fixes, much like balancing characters, the roster will be much more versatile and players can actually play who they would like. This would help the game play much more smoothly, ensuring that gamers have a carefree experience.
