Although My Hero Ultra Rumble grants players six heroes and villains to use as much as they want from the start, fans will eventually want to dive into the battle royale game with the other characters it offers. Not to say the six starter fighters aren't great, but other characters in the game, like Bakugo, are much better and give gamers the ability to experiment with various playstyles.

What Characters Can Be Unlocked With Character Tickets?

Character Tickets are a type of item that players can obtain in My Hero Ultra Rumble. After the game's official release, beginners in My Hero Ultra Rumble are granted a free Character Ticket to use however they'd like to experience other characters once their Rental Tickets have run out.

There are only three characters (all heroes) that fans can purchase with the Character Tickets. Because of that, players can only get three Character Tickets, one of which is given to them for free. The other two Character Tickets can be purchased from the Standard Shop. One of the Character Tickets will cost 100 Hero Souls, while a second one will cost 200 Hero Souls. After the first two Character Tickets are bought out, players will have to buy Character Tickets that cost 300 Hero Souls from there on out. What Characters Are Unlocked With the Special License?

Licenses in My Hero Ultra Rumble are essentially the battle royale game's take on a season pass, much like Fortnite's Battle Pass. These change with each season, which lasts about two months. But, fans may notice that there is another somewhat tricky-to-find License that never changes with the season; rather, players will eventually complete it by playing the game enough (or purchasing EXP).

Through this, what is called the Special License, players are able to unlock several characters that were released with My Hero Ultra Rumble's official debut in 2023. The Special License even withholds a few of the game's best characters that deal massive amounts of damage. My Hero Ultra Rumble also has a gacha game in which players can 'roll' by using their Roll Tickets, obtained through missions, shops, and Licenses. Found on the "Roll" section of the main screen, players can attempt various Rolls to try and get various cosmetics, items, and, most importantly, characters. The Plus Ultra Roll is the very first Roll available to players and only allows them to get Plus Ultra costumes for Dabi, Shigaraki, and Toga and new characters to use on their roster.

To get new Roll Tickets to use in the gacha games, players will want to just play the game. Roll Tickets can be earned by completing missions on the 'Missions' list, as well as earned by obtaining EXP from matches and accessing higher tiers through Licenses. The best way to earn even more EXP is by joining a high-level Agency and dumping Agency Points into the Gym. This gives all Agency members an EXP boost, making it easier to obtain License rewards.

Shota Aizawa is the very first hero to have been added to My Hero Ultra Rumble since the game officially released, marking a large milestone for the battle royale game. Aizawa is a master in technicality, as he is a Technical archetype character. Aizawa is capable of rendering all enemies' Quirk Skills useless, leaving them vulnerable to friendly attacks.

On his own, Aizawa uses his scarf to maneuver around the map, as well as entangle enemies and combo them. To unlock Shota Aizawa in My Hero Ultra Rumble, fans will have to obtain the character in the Plus Ultra Roll, which has a 1% chance of dropping the hero.
