Within My Hero Ultra Rumble, fans will find that all the characters on the game's roster are assigned to an archetype/class. There are five different archetypes, each of which offers unique effects and benefits a team in different ways. The Strike archetype, which is associated with the color red, is a damage-based class, allowing characters to deal more than enough damage to take out opposing teams.

Notably the most powerful archetype with incredible DPS, Strike characters are best for inflicting loads of damage on targets. Some of the best fighters in My Hero Ultra Rumble are Strike characters, such as Katsuki Bakugo. Here's how all characters with this archetype stack up against each other.

4 Denki Kaminari

Denki Kaminari

Denki Kaminari was released onto My Hero Ultra Rumble's roster with the game's official release in 2023. With the support of his electrifying Quirk, Kaminari is capable of not only inflicting massive injury to his opponents, but also paralyzing targets. Kaminari's most unique feature is his Quirk Alpha, which allows him to connect three different projectiles together to form a fence of electricity. Opponents who touch the projectiles, or walk into the fence, will receive damage.

This makes Kaminari fairly difficult to master, but also a great character to use when trapping opponents or punishing those who dodge too much. With his other abilities, Kaminari can paralyze opponents, which leaves them open for other attacks. Kaminari's Special Action even lets him wrap himself in electricity to hurt close-range opponents even more. Kaminari becomes even more dangerous to his enemies when they're caught in enclosed spaces, as he has a massive AoE attack that pairs wonderfully with his Quirk Skill Alpha.

3 Shoto Todoroki

Shoto Todoroki

Shoto Todoroki is one of the strongest heroes in My Hero Ultra Rumble. If it weren't for his vulnerabilities, he may be alongside Bakugo as the best fighter. Todoroki's Quirk allows the Class 1-A student to manipulate fire and ice on different sides of his body. With this Quirk, Todoroki can blast opponents with fire using his Quirk Alpha. This skill does immense damage, allowing Todoroki to down an enemy quickly with successive blows.

Todoroki's other Quirk Skills utilize his ice power, which is technical in utility. His second Quirk triggers Todoroki to blast a large ice wall in front of him, which the character is fond of doing in My Hero Academia. This can devastate opponents up close, but also provides a large shield for him and his allies in a pinch.

Todoroki's final Quirk Skill lets him blast a vertical AoE of ice in front of him on the ground. With extra inputs, Todoroki can slide on the ice, giving him a sense of mobility. With all of his Quirk Skills, Todoroki has the capability of massacring enemy teams, especially those who have no clue how to deal with Shoto.

2 Tomura Shigaraki

Shigaraki in My Hero Ultra Rumble

Tomura Shigaraki was a fan-favorite pick upon My Hero Ultra Rumble's release, as the character had the potential to deal loads of damage when fighting his enemies up close. As a Strike villain with no sense of real mobility, Shigaraki's assets fall in his DPS with close-range targets.

My Hero Ultra Rumble: 5 Improvements The Game Needs

My Hero Ultra Rumble has been well-received, but there are a few aspects that could use some improvement to make the game even better.

With all three of his Quirk Skills, Shigaraki lands his attacks in close-range AoEs that stack up damage seamlessly. His Special Action, Collapse Hand, acts as a grab which allows him to run up to an enemy and pick them up. This automatically deals monstrous damage to an opponent's health gauge. Collapse Hand also can destroy buildings in a single hit, which works fantastically for teams looking to stock up on Revive Cards.

Though Shigaraki has a little trouble dealing with long-range fighters like Bakugo, Midoriya, and Uraraka, the villainous leader is more than capable of destroying enemies who count on getting close to Shigaraki. The latter fact is even more true when Shigaraki is paired up with synergistic teammates. These heroes and villains can revive allies, attack from longer ranges, help move Shigaraki around the map, and capitalize on the villain's damage. That makes Mr. Compress, Toga, Bakugo, Cementoss, and such excellent partners for Tomura Shigaraki.

1 Katsuki Bakugo

Bakugo in front of the my hero ultra rumble cover

There are plenty of characters that utilize different abilities and various tools in this anime battle royale game, but only a few can stand above the others in terms of simplicity, power, and versatility. One of those few is Katsuki Bakugo, who many consider to be the best character in My Hero Ultra Rumble.

Katsuki Bakugo, as a Strike character, can power through enemies with the incredible harm dealt by his long-range Quirk Skill, grenades, and close-range explosion attacks. All three of his Quirk Skills provide Bakugo with important tools that cater to various situations, giving the hero an advantage of versatility that others like Itsuka Kendo lack.

If that wasn't enough, Bakugo's Special Action allows him to fly around in the air, giving him the mobility of a Rapid archetype fighter. With this Special Action, Bakugo can flee out of sight to surprise enemies or simply get out of a treacherous confrontation. Bakugo also has combos that he can perform on opponents that maximize his damage output. Some combos almost completely take out an enemy's GP and HP gauge.
