My Hero Academia is one of the most popular manga to debut in recent years, with an anime adaptation in its fifth season and a handful of video games — including the 3D arena fighter My Hero One's Justice 2 that released this March. Publisher Bandai Namco announced the game will be adding a fan-favorite hero, Hawks, as DLC sometime soon on Twitter.

A number of trailers showcasing heroes like Sir Nighteye and Fat Gum were released prior to launch, culminating in a roster of 40 playable characters. The 30-second trailer for this first DLC addition shows Hawks laying waste to opponents with razor-sharp feathers as Bandai Namco promises players can "takedown villains at blazing speed."

There's no clear date given as to when Hawks will be available in Byking's My Hero One's Justice 2, so fans of the game should keep an eye on social media to learn more.

Hawks is a popular character, being a Pro Hero with an impressive quirk and a casual, carefree personality. However, there are plenty of other characters with terrible quirks who would make fun additions to the game with DLC on the table.

My Hero One's Justice 2 is available now for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
