My Hero Academia: 10 Strangest Quirks, Ranked

There are many different Quirks seen throughout My Hero Academia, but some stand out for being outright bizarre.

Many of the tallest characters in My Hero Academia also come with a Quirk that suits their large stature, and will often use both in tangent to decimate their opponents. This goes for many of the heroes, but also some of the villains too who have shown up to stop Midoriya and his pals along their journey, but when compared side by side, which character really stands as the tallest of them all? Keep reading to find out.

7 Endeavor

Height: 6' 5"

Endeavor

Endeavor being at the bottom of this list gives a good idea of how massive some of My Hero's characters really are, since the Pro Hero himself is often regarded as a giant among the students of U.A High. Endeavor's Hellflame Quirk allows him to conjure up flames at will, which he will usually combine with his body to create devastating attacks to annihilate his opponents with.

Moving around such a large body does mean Endeavor can run out of stamina if he goes a little overboard though, so while he possesses an incredible amount of power, it does still come at a cost. Endeavor might not be as big as his rival All Might, but he's proven that this doesn't make him any weaker, or any less of a hero, since he's more than capable of burning his enemies to a crisp if the situation calls for it.

6 Nighteye

Height: 6' 7"

Though Nighteye will gladly engage in hand-to-hand combat if he's forced to, such as during his intense battle with the Kendo Rappa clone, he often prefers to use his Quirk, Foresight, to deal with his opponents. This allows him to witness a person's future from a third-person perspective, and while it can only be activated once each day, it's still arguably one of the most powerful Quirks in the entire series.

As a result, Nighteye only rarely uses his large frame to his advantage in battle, even though he's one of the tallest characters in the entire series. At first glance, it can also seem as though Nighteye wouldn't be very effective in a fight since he's much more slender and lean compares to buff powerhouses like All Might, but underneath his savvy suits, he's actually just as ripped as the other Pro Heroes.

5 Muscular

Height: 6' 7"

Muscular

Muscular makes his first appearance during the Forest Training Camp arc where he causes quite a commotion due to his Quirk, Muscle augmentation, which increases his strength and size by an astronomical amount. Even in his regular form though, Muscular is still easily able to tower over Midoriya, allowing him to throw the young aspiring hero around like a ragdoll.

Muscular was by far the toughest enemy Midoriya had come across up to that point in the story, and was only taken down after a long and bloody battle which pushed Midoriya to his absolute limit. Before the two even engaged in battle though, Midoriya instantly recognized Muscular would not be someone who could be taken lightly given his size, and it's fair to say, he was spot on with this assumption.

4 Gang Orca

Height: 6' 8"

Each of the Pro Heroes have weird and whacky design schemes, but Gang Orca might be the strangest of them all. This half-man half-killer whale has such a menacing appearance that it almost makes him look more like a villain than a hero, especially when he unleashes his devastating Orcinus Quirk. Alongside his Quirk, Gang Orca is also said to possess the strength of a killer whale, making him a true force to be reckoned with in battle, especially given how durable he is thanks to his large and bulky frame.

He does admittedly have a weakness to extreme heat, but Orca can still bat away physical attacks without breaking a sweat, as demonstrated when he took on multiple heroes at once during the Pro Hero License Exam. Needless to say, Orca's size has played a big part in making him one of the most reliable and powerful Pro Heroes who can endure any kind of attack, so long as it doesn't involve getting burned.

3 All Might

Height: 7' 2"

All Might's final punch against the USJ Nomu.

Considering All Might is the number 1 hero for much of the story, it makes sense why he would be presented as being so big and strong, but he's truly a giant who is a lot larger than most of the humans seen in My Hero Academia. His superior size and strength isn't only used to give All Might an edge in battle though, as it also plays into his depiction to the public, being the keeper of peace who can always be depended on, no matter how bad things get.

10 Best Rivalries In My Hero Academia, Ranked

Rivalries are, in many ways, the heart and soul of My Hero Academia, and these characters make for the best rival relationships in the series.

It's hard not to want to become a mighty hero after seeing videos of All Might in action, making him a role model to many youngsters who can only dream of one day being as powerful as he is. Though it's revealed early on that All Might is hiding a weaker secret identity under this facade, when he assumes the role of being a hero, he comes across as an immensely powerful figure, in large part due to his size.

2 All For One

Height: 7' 4"

All For One with a massive fleshy arm

As if All Might wasn't already large enough, his arch-nemesis, All For One, stands just a little taller at a staggering 7 foot 4 inches, making him the second tallest character in the entire series. For a lot of the story, All For One decides to hide his identity, always being seen with mask to obscure his face, but as hard as he tries to keep himself hidden from the world, it's hard to ignore his large frame.

As sick and twisted as All For One is revealed to be as a character, he didn't get this way through some sort of experimentation, as it's shown through flashbacks that he was always gifted with being very tall, even as a teenager. Even during the Final War, All For One somehow manages to make both Endeavor and Hawks look small in comparison to him, which shows just how terrifying this guy would be to go up against, and that's before he's even thrown out an attack.

1 Fatgum

Height: 8' 2"

Fatgum waiting food off a tray

In order for his Quirk to work properly, Horikoshi needed to ensure Fatgum stood tall, but at over 8 feet, he's by far the largest character out of the entire roster. Fatgum is able to use his own body fat to absorb any attacks or projectiles thrown his way, and over the years, this has given him a plump belly alongside making him massive in regard to his height.

He may seem like a cute and innocent guy on the surface, but it's when Fatgum shreds his fat where he demonstrates why he has earned the status of being a Pro Hero. While he loses every inch of fat that he accumulated when jumping into this form, he's still just as tall and far more deadly than he was before. He unfortunately doesn't show up too many times throughout the series, but when Fatgum does make an appearance, his magnificent size is the first thing most people notice about him.
