His quirk is known as Dupli-Arms. This is because of his ability to manipulate the tentacles that are attached to his arms in a web-like way. He is able to transform the tentacles into a part of his body such as eyes, mouth, hands, or ears. A powerful hero in training, Shoji's quirk is a unique one.

Shoji possesses an immense amount of physical strength, his muscular frame is a testament to this, as he is constantly seen going all out with pure brawn power. This is seen when he was able to slap Himiko Toga away easily and was able to carry Mineta and Tsuyu on his back. Along with his strength, he also possesses immense stamina which keeps him active and aware of his surroundings. His reflexes are also quite sharp, as he is able to evade speedy attacks from his opponents and keep up with them too. Apart from all the brawn and power, Shoji is also analytical in thinking and is able to deduce situations by just observing.

I don't want to leave a suffering friend behind.

As a hero, Shoji believes in putting his life in front of others and is not afraid to do so. He also does not care about the negative things others say about him. Growing up as a heteromorph in his hometown, he found it difficult because many people were scared of his appearance. He also resorted to wearing his signature mask because he did not want to scare people. Unlike Spinner, Shoji did not want to hurt people just because they judged him for how he looked, he wanted to become someone who made a difference. Shoji is also extremely protective of his peers and will do anything he can to make sure they are safe.

Shoji's ability to manipulate his tentacles is a powerful quirk because not only can he transform his tentacles into an extra body part, but when this happens, the body part on the tentacle also has heightened sensory, this means if Shoji transforms his tentacles into ears, he is able to listen to things happening in the distance. He is also able to use his tentacles as a defense mechanism by using them as a shield. Since he has a strong grasp on his quirk, Shoji is able to quickly transform his tentacles into a body part at will. Not only is his quirk perfect in battle condition, but he can also work on missions that require stealth work and listening from distances, which would give him and his peers an advantage over his opponents.

Shoji's quirk is one of the most underrated quirks in the series and has immense potential. The agility of his quirk allows him to duplicate a part of his body and use them as powerful weapons, this is seen when he turns his tentacles into multiple arms and uses his fists to land a barrage of punches on his opponent. This special move of his is known as Octoblow. Another powerful move he can execute is known as Octospansion, where he is able to transform his arm into a huge fist capable of landing a powerful blow on his enemy. His quirk is not just all about punches and power, but he is also able to utilize this quirk when it comes to spy work, his special move - Octosearcher allows him to transform his tentacles into multiple eyes and ears, allowing him to see and hear things which are not close by.

My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia (2016)

In My Hero Academia, some humans have superpowers called quirks. Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, is not one of them. Deku has always idolized heroes like the number one hero, All Might, and since he was a child, he has always wanted to be a hero. However, his lack of a quirk has always held him back, but a chance encounter with All Might after discovering a classmate in danger sets Deku on the path to becoming a true hero. My Hero Academia centers around Deku and a class of heroes-in-training at UA. This school shapes young quirk users into future heroes through fake rescue missions, combat training, and other hero-tempering tasks. With young Deku inheriting the "One-For-All" quirk, he will learn what it means to be a true hero while facing off with dastardly supervillains.
