When will the next season of My Hero Academia start? There has been no word yet. Let’s instead focus on predicting what will be in season six. Season five of the anime ends on chapter 258 of the manga. It shows Deku, the rest of his school, and a plethora of the world’s top heroes about to storm the compound of the villains. There is no build-up to it in the manga either.

From that point to about chapter 300, it’s one big chaotic battle. The manga in general is seemingly wrapping itself up, which could mean the anime could only have one or two more full seasons left.

To set up where season six will be starting from, there will be major spoilers for the My Hero Academia manga up to chapter 306.

8 Rabbit Hero: Mirko’s Day In The Sun

Mirko from My Hero Academia

Mirko has not had a lot of time to shine in the My Hero Academia manga or anime adaptation. This changes as she is the star for a good chunk of the first dozen chapters when the heroes invade the villainous compound. She gives chase to Dr. Garaki, which leads her to a library filled with Nomu. It is an awesome series of attacks.

Even though Mirko is only one hero, she holds her own for quite some time before her body gives out. Because she is so fast, it’s hard to get that sense of inertia when reading her actions. However, the anime should do a nice job showcasing her speed better.

7 Liberation Front Side Battles

Re-Destro from My Hero Academia

At the end of season five, My Hero Academia shows that the Liberation Army has set up a bunch of generals with subdivisions. It seemed like the anime and manga were setting up a big plan for these groups, but in the raid, most side villain fights are brushed over. Only the main villains get attention like Twice, Dabi, Shigaraki, and so on.

Filler is kind of a dirty word in the eyes of many anime fans but it can be executed well. It would be nice to see the anime highlight more side battles in this invasion process.

6 Class 1-A Vs Gigantomachia

Gigantomachia from My Hero Academia

It takes the entire class of 1-A to take down Gigantomachia. They get help from other students and heroes as well. This is not that surprising considering how overwhelmed Shigaraki and his gang were when training against Gigantomachia.

The heroes need to prevent Gigantomachia from meeting up with Shigaraki. They fail, but they have to try again to prevent the giant from destroying countless cities as he escapes with his villainous friends. Their efforts are paid off at the cost of a big hero’s life. This hero deserved to have a better send-off in the manga so hopefully, the anime does a better job at that.

5 Deku vs Shigaraki

Shigaraki from My Hero Academia

Shigaraki fights a lot of people at this point in the manga. It starts with Endeavor but the real spectacle is with Deku. He gives his entire body to the cause. He even pushes himself to learn a new ability from the past heroes of One For All. Deku is assisted by Bakugo, Shoto, Eraserhead, and so on.

Deku wouldn’t have been able to handle Shigaraki on his own even though he’s doing all the real damage. There are even two surprise heroes that fans may have thought were dead. They were huge hype moments, particularly with one hero.

4 Ochaco Vs Toga

Toga from My Hero Academia

One of the saddest moments in this arc in the manga is when Twice dies. That’s going to be rough to watch in anime form. He doesn’t even get to out on a high note. Hawks kills him in cold blood which sets Toga ablaze with rage.

Toga is in a killing mood, on the hunt for a hero when she eventually encounters Ochaco. It’s a great fight because it’s more like Ochaco versus herself. Toga has gotten quite good at mimicking faces and powers. Does Ochaco hold her own?

3 The Tartarus Prison Break

All For One from My Hero Academia

After the raid on the villains s done, there is some downtime with the heroes. However, the action is not over yet. The world is about to enter into an everlasting nightmare of darkness.

That’s because All For One facilitates a prison break from Tartarus. He’s able to escape along with many of the world’s deadliest villains. Some of them are new but there are returning favorites as well. Getting to see this massacre is going to look great in anime form even if it will be dark.

2 Dabi Reveals His True Identity

Dabi from My Hero Academia

During the battle with Shigaraki, Dabi eventually joins the fray. He doesn’t fight so much as unveil his villainous plan. It turns out he has been hiding a huge secret identity all this time. He is Touya, Endeavor’s thought to be deceased son.

Dabi broadcasts what Endeavor did to his family thus weakening the relationship between heroes and citizens further. Even though this happens during the fight, the full backstory is not unearthed until after when Endeavor is recovering in the hospital. He contemplates his past mistakes through a series of flashbacks.

1 Where It Should End

Deku from My Hero Academia

If season six of the anime starts on chapter 259 then it should end on chapter 306. It has a fitting name “The Beginning of the End” which lends itself to the theory that the series is ending soon. Deku decides to leave the school and fend for himself.

Deku thinks the villains will hurt his friends in their efforts to get his powers. That is a noble sentiment, but he will soon come to regret that decision. There isn’t a single better way to end the season than with this cliffhanger.
