Rikido quirk is known as Sugar Rush, which means he can increase his strength by five-fold for a short period of time when he ingests sugar, his body and muscles also enlarge when activating his quirk. A sugar-driven character in training to become a pro hero just like his peers. Apart from his training, he also enjoys baking cakes for his peers and is able to bake delicious cakes because of his quirk. Although he does not think much of his abilities as a baker, his classmates think otherwise and always look forward to his cakes.

Oh, I didn't expect everyone to like it so much.

Rikido is a short-range fighter who is able to use his quirk to enhance his strength physically, this means when it comes to a battle with an opponent that attacks from a distance, Rikido would be at a disadvantage. He solely depends on his brawn for power and is seen constantly ingesting sugar to maintain his quirk. Thanks to his abilities, Rikido also manages to catch the attention of the No.13 Pro hero, Shishido. Shishido is the perfect mentor for Rikido as they both use brute force when it comes to battling opponents and Shishido took him in order to hone that ability. He was also able to learn that strength is not everything and reading situations also plays an important role when in the heat of a battle.

Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice

Since Rikido always needs to ingest sugar to activate his quirk and this can sometimes prove to be an issue. Consuming too much sugar causes him to slow down mentally, making it difficult for him to think. He also feels sleepy and tired afterward. Once he reaches his limit after ingesting sugar, he becomes much weaker. Another downside to this quirk is that he needs to have sugar all the time with him in case of a battle. This quirk is not all downside though, as he is also able to keep ingesting sugar to increase the time limit he is able to use his quirk. To increase the limit of sugar he can consume, Rikido needs to constantly train his body to become stronger so that he can use his quirk for longer.

A couple of his ultimate moves are a testament to his strength when his quirk is activated, one of them is known as Sugar Rush (similar to the name of his quirk) which gives him the speed and power to execute multiple punches at once on an opponent. The other signature move he uses is known as Sugar Knuckle, this move is an extremely powerful punch that is able to knock an opponent off their feet. While Rikido is not as powerful as his peers such as Eijiro Krishima who is able to harden his entire body, he is still able to put up a strong fight and give it his all just like heroes are meant to do.
