Essentially, Kudo plans to make use of this opening and crawl inside of this crack, weakening Shigaraki from the inside out.
According to Kudo, fighting Shigaraki physically is not going to be possible. He is so strong that even Deku, strong as he is, cannot take him down in combat right now. Their only bet is to go inside of him and deal mental damage. Of course, dealing this mental damage to him is a risk at the moment and there is no way around it. Kudo plans to go first and ascertain for himself whether this risk is worth taking or not. This is something that My Hero Academia chapter 414 will most definitely focus on. Fans should fully expect Kudo to leave Deku's body, and gear shift being lost for the first time.
Shigaraki Takes Mental Damage

He would successfully be able to infiltrate the crack inside of Shigaraki and weaken him mentally from the inside out. This would then give Deku and the others a clear blueprint to follow and allow them to hit him where it hurts the most, that is, from the inside out. This is most likely how the events of the upcoming chapter of My Hero Academia are going to go as the author has already set this up as one of the only ways to defeat Shigaraki.

However, My Hero Academia chapter 414 could also see this plan backfire. Essentially, if Kudo fails to hit the weak spot of Shigaraki from the inside, then, he will get completely overwhelmed by All For One, and his power will simply belong to Shigaraki. Fans already know that Danger Sense is being used by Shigaraki at the moment. If Kudo fails in his mission, then, Gear Shift would also belong to Shigaraki and this would grant him insurmountable powers. Given how strong he is currently already, Shigaraki would be absolutely unstoppable with Gear Shift and this could really make things worse for Deku. However, at the same time, it could also help him in a way since his body's weakness, which is currently stemming from overusing Gear Shift, will go away as soon as the Quirk is transferred.
The Process Of Losing Quirks Begins

It has already been mentioned in the story on multiple occasions now that Shigaraki will end up gaining the power of the One For All. Deku will have to lose One For All if he wants to beat Shigaraki and the only way of doing that is by sending One For All inside of him, trusting the vestiges to probe and, then, weakening him mentally and hope for a proper resolution. Of course, this is a very risky strategy, however, it is one that the heroes are going to have to utilize, otherwise, they will simply lose this battle and, with it, doom the entire world.
My Hero Academia chapter 414 will set the basis for the One For All transfer to Shigaraki. It is highly unlikely that the quirk itself will be transferred in the upcoming chapter, however, when it comes to setting the stage, that can surely happen in the upcoming chapter.
