When Will My Hero Academia End?

My Hero Academia’s story reaches its climax and will end soon.

Deku is taking on Shigaraki and this is a much-awaited battle that has excited all the fans greatly. My Hero Academia has been nothing short of fantastic lately, and fans were pleasantly surprised by this chapter, as it continued to add tension and increase the stakes of the ongoing fight dramatically.

Danger Sense Stolen

Towards the end of the last chapter, Danger Sense was clearly stolen by Shigaraki Tomura and fans got a proper look at how that became possible in the first place in this chapter. The vestiges were seen talking amongst themselves moments before Shigaraki got to steal Danger Sense. Of course, Shigaraki had been already identified as a danger that needs to be eliminated by many of the vestiges, however, the fact is that his regeneration is so powerful that anything that they hit him with doesn't seem to be enough. That is precisely when Shigaraki struck out of nowhere and, thanks to Danger Sense, Shinomori was compelled to give himself in first of all.

As he did that, he saved the other vestiges from being stolen, and that is precisely where the previous chapter of the story concluded. From here onwards, things are going to be extremely difficult for Deku and the other vestiges as now, they will have a hard time dancing around danger and they can all be stolen in one fell swoop if they are hit by this ability once more. This has aided the plot greatly in terms of making it more intense and now, Deku will be on his guard at all times, trying to keep his distance and attack from afar. Of course, whether those attacks will be enough or not is the real issue here.

Shigaraki's Growing Strength

After stealing Danger Sense In My Hero Academia chapter 410, Shigaraki was shown to be extremely powerful in My Hero Academia chapter 411. Now, he has Danger Sense, and the author did incredibly well to have Shigaraki test out this power. Deku launched a powerful assault on Shigaraki in the chapter using a combination of Blackwhip, Fa Jin, and Gear Shift. Despite this incredible combination, Shigaraki was easily able to dance around the attack and dodge every single one of them. He realized how incredible a power Danger Sense truly was and what it meant to have this ability. Now, Shigaraki is even stronger than before, especially since he is incredibly difficult to hit in combat.

Shikaraki even struck back with ferocity once Deku tried to attack him and connected with his hit. Deku tried his best to use layers of Blackwhip to defend himself, however, despite that attempt, he still took a lot of damage. In fact, the mask that All Might worked incredibly hard to get back to him was completely shattered, and Deku was pushed into a corner. In this fight, it is clear that Shigaraki is the dominant force at the moment and that he is continually growing stronger and growing more dangerous as well.

The Fear Of The Vestiges

the vestiges my hero academia mha 411

My Hero Academia chapter 411 did incredibly well to focus on the vestiges as well. There appears to be a significant split of opinion among them. While some of them want to end this battle here for good, others, such as En, want to run once again. This is simply because they do not think Shigaraki can be taken down as Deku is right now. Deku is strong, however, without Danger Sense, this battle becomes incredibly difficult. Shinomori was able to defend them with the power of Danger Sense previously, however, now, he cannot do that, and the next time Shigaraki tries something similar will be the end of all of them. That said, Deku's power is not stored in the quirks but his raw power is in the One For All itself, which means that he will still have access to it, no matter what.

Deku himself would not run away from this battle, and that is only natural. He absolutely wants to fight to the very best and while Shigaraki wants to destroy, Deku wants to protect and even save him and help him go back to his humanity. For the vestiges, My Hero Academia chapter 411 does not paint a pretty picture and they could very well end up being in danger in the upcoming chapters. Whether Deku will be able to defend them without Danger Sense or not is going to be very interesting, however, fans should absolutely not be surprised if more of them, or all of them end up being taken away from him in the upcoming chapter. This will be especially interesting when Nana Shimura comes into play, who, as fans know, is related by blood to Shigaraki.

Shigaraki's Plan

My Hero Academia chapter 411 also did incredibly well to highlight Shigaraki's plan. He forced Deku into a corner for a specific reason and everything that he did was completely calculated. Shigaraki pushed back Deku until he reached Mount Fuji and, now, his real plan begins. His Decay is so strong that it can completely destroy Mount Fuji within a matter of seconds and, when that happens, the volcano will erupt and everyone around will be completely doomed, regardless of where they are. This is a travesty that Deku absolutely cannot let come to pass and, for that reason, he has to stop Shigaraki in his tracks here and now. Shigaraki wants to return everything to nothing and then start a new era from there, starting from the very house that he lived in.

Of course, Shigaraki also wants to adhere to the wishes of his followers, such as Spinner, which he made clear in this week's chapter once again. The battle from here onwards is going to be incredibly difficult for Deku and he needs a miracle to win this fight. Whether he will be able to do that or not remains to be seen.

Sadly, fans will have to wait quite a bit to see what Deku does and what ends up happening to the vestiges as My Hero Academia will be on break. January is usually filled with breaks and fans will only get to see the next chapter of the story after 2 weeks. This wait is certainly going to be worth it, however, as, from here onwards, every chapter of the story is going to be absolutely sensational.

My Hero Academia is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of My Hero Academia, My Hero Academia chapter 412, is set to be January 21, 2024.
