My Hero Academia is the story of Izuku Midoriya, a young boy who aims to become the greatest Hero of all time despite being born Quirkless. Over the years, Kohei Horikoshi, the author of the story, has delivered some of the most incredible arcs, but now it seems as though the final act is finally upon fans.

The author has previously stated that the manga is now very close to its end, meaning that all of the major plot points are to be resolved relatively soon. As such, there are certain characters who will almost certainly be taking the spotlight during the final act of the popular series.

6 Katsuki Bakugo

My Hero Academia Katsuki Bakugo

Bakugo is one of the main characters in My Hero Academia and the deuteragonist of the story. He is the biggest rival of Midoriya, and, just like his rival, he aims to become the greatest Hero one day. Arguably, Bakugo might even be stronger than Midoriya on his day.

Being the second most important Hero student in the series, it goes without saying that Bakugo will have a big role to play in the final arc. Regardless of who he is fighting, he's certain to shine. By the end of the story, he might even be next to Izuku as the greatest Hero of all time.

5 Shoto Todoroki

While not as important as Bakugo, Shoto has also played quite an interesting role in the story so far. Known to be a genius, he's said to hold the potential to surpass even All Might, the greatest Hero of all time. Shoto's arc revolves around his unresolved family issues and his brother, Toya Todoroki.

In the final arc of the series, he is certain to take the spotlight as he is one of the most interesting characters in My Hero Academia and one who Horikoshi has taken quite a lot of time to develop. With powers as strong as his, fans can rest assured that he is going to take center stage and fight some of the strongest opponents out there.

4 Ochaco Uraraka

Uraka is the main heroine of My Hero Academia. However, she doesn't often get the time that she deserves in the story. So far, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that she has been one of the most underused characters. Despite this, whatever little the fans have seen of her has delivered a compelling story and one which could lead to some intriguing plot points if developed further.

In the final arc, fans expect her to have a big role to play by Deku's side. After all, her Quirk is a support ability that may well help Deku to achieve his dreams when his effort alone might be enough. Being the most important female character in the series, she might also end up fighting one of the big villains to show just what she's truly capable of.

3 Izuku Midoriya

My Hero Academia Izuku Midoriya

The main character of the series, Izuku Midoriya is certain to shine in the final arc of the story. It is likely here where he'll fight Shigaraki Tomura, who holds the powers of All For One. His Quirk, the One For All, is likely going to reach its very pinnacle in this arc and allow him to take down evil for good.

Izuku will also likely become the greatest Hero that the world has ever seen, as was already mentioned to the fans at the very beginning of the story. It is highly likely that he will be heralded as a global hero after establishing world order and finally surpassing the legacy that All Might once built. In doing so, he will also become the next Symbol of Peace, just as he once dreamed of.

2 Shigaraki Tomura

Shigaraki Tomura is one of the main antagonists in the overarching plot of My Hero Academia. Although he's being used by All For One, Shigaraki does hold tremendous significance to the plot as a villain. With the power that he possesses, he can destroy nearly everything and everyone in his path.

By the end of the series, he's likely to have grown even stronger than All For One was in his prime and pose the greatest challenge for Izuku Midoriya in his Hero career. Furthermore, Shigaraki's character also poses a moral dilemma for Izuku as he is someone who the Hero considers worthy of being helped. It'll be interesting to see how their dynamic will develop in the final arc and whether he will be saved by Izuku. Needless to say, Shigaraki's story is certainly going to be at the center of the final arc.

1 All For One

All For One My Hero Academia 366

The greatest antagonist in the series and the man known to be the worst evil of all, All For One is certainly going to be involved in the final arc. He is at the helm of villainy in the series and will likely maintain that position until the very end. All For One is directly linked to One For All and, thus, a confrontation between the two powers is necessary before the series concludes.

After the Paranormal Liberation War arc, fans saw him rise from the shadows once again and establish himself as an important villain. It is up to Izuku Midoriya and his friends to stop him for good before the story wraps up. All For One's fall could then pave way for Shigaraki to be saved in some way.
