There has been some major development for Dabi's character as the My Hero Academia series progresses and here is how his quirk is one of the most powerful quirks around. As the eldest son of the No.1 hero - Endeavor, Dabi had undergone intense training from his father and had also trained himself to become one of the most powerful members of the League of Villains. His hatred of heroes and his fellowship in the hero killer-Stain's ideologies had led him to kill over thirty people.
Although he hails from a noble background he is still classified as a murderer. His blue flame quirk gives him the immense power seen throughout the series and is he is known to be one of the most powerful fire-wielding users apart from his family members, his father Endeavor and younger brother Shoto Todoroki.

The Enigma
Dabi is able to generate flames that reach temperatures that exceed 2000 °C and this may also be why Dabi's fire appears blue rather than the red or orange we see Endeavor or Shoto use. Despite being burned all over his body, Dabi is still able to use his flame power with ease. Dabi's fighting style revolves around mostly fighting from a distance as his flames are perfect to launch flamethrower attacks on his foes by practically disintegrating them. He is able to generate vasts amounts of flames to defend attacks by creating walls of flames that slows or stops an opponents attack. His flame attack can be used on multiple opponents at once and is hard to avoid if used to engulf a vicinity. His quirk also enables him to fly and hover in the air, this gives him the agility to move quickly and evade attacks from opponents while spurring flames back.
As a child, Dabi's body was heavily burned in a fire, and yet he survived, however, he is unable to feel pain due to the heavy damage done to his nervous system. This is what enables him to use his quirk regardless of the burns that affect his body. Dabis is also able to resist ice base attacks thanks to a characteristic he inherited from his mother- Rei. As a powerful villain, Dabi is able to copy moves from his fellow fire quirk users, this is how he managed to quickly pick up various fire-based attacks and make them his own. He also mocks his opponents when fighting them questioning their morals and is smart enough to figure out the weaknesses of his opponents instantly. His unstable nature causes him to rage in a fit of madness when pushed to his limits during a battle.
Blueflame And Attacks
Dabi's quirk is called Blueflame, mostly because he is able to emit powerful and catastrophic blue flames from his body at will. He has firm control over his quirk and is able to shoot flames over larges distances no matter the position he is in. It is said that his blue flames are actually stronger than Endeavor's and are capable of growing and becoming even stronger based on his emotional state, this is seen during his fight with his brother Shoto during the Paranormal Liberation war. One of his weakness is however that he cannot use his flame for extremely long periods of time as it burns his body due to the high intensity of the flames.

One of Dabi's most powerful attacks which was also his father's signature technique when battling opponents is known as Flashfire Fist. Dabi however adds his own spin to this attack by increasing the power added to it inflicting more damage on opponents. Another similar attack copied from his father is called Hell Spider, this attack lets him shoots fire from his fingertips. Compared to his father, Dabi uses this attack recklessly and to a far more powerful extent.
Many times in the series Dabi is able to blast our a jet of fire on a desired target, this attack is known as Jet Burn. A devastatingly powerful move that can immobilize an opponent due to the extremely powerful flames that overpower the opponent. He is able to manipulate the form of the flames in order to have his desired level of damage on a foe, this attack is one of Dabi's most fatal attacks. Finally, but not least, in My Hero Academia's season 6, episode 11, we see Dabi launch himself off Gigantomachia to deliver a powerful blow on his father, this attack of his is known as Prominence Burn, the attack is made of a concentrated level of fire that is able to practically disintegrate an opponent. He is unable to deliver this blow on Endeavor as Best Jeanist appears from the sky restraining him from delivering the attack.
