The following contains spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 391, "The World She Rejected," by Kohei Horikoshi, translated by Caleb Cook available in English from Viz Media.

My Hero Academia returned from its break with a rather short but quite intriguing chapter. As expected, this chapter of My Hero Academia was set to be focused on Toga, as she was seen observing the events that surrounded the Todoroki Family over the course of the last few chapters. Toga is currently being chased by none other than Uraraka and that only means that she's all set to receive the spotlight following the fall of Toya.

While My Hero Academia chapter 391 did not see her character arc come to a conclusion, it certainly did build up towards it. Fans will most likely see this character arc reach its conclusion in the next few chapters, and the chapters leading up to its conclusion are going to be very fun to read.

Sad Man's Death Parade

My Hero Academia chapter 391 began with Toga and ended with her as well. Fans know that she is using the power of Twice to the fullest. She can use the clones of Twice infinitely and she has been doing that for quite a while now. While not much has been seen of her in the last few chapters, the fact is that Toga alone can define the flow of the entire war and change the tides if she so wishes. Her own conflicting feelings have stopped her from ending the war and granting victory to Shigaraki. Nonetheless, Toga is still doing more than enough to keep the Heroes at bay and, in this chapter, her killing intent shone even more.

Toga is dead set on eliminating all heroes as she kept screaming over and over again in this week's chapter. In fact, the vast majority of the Heroes fighting back against her started to struggle more as her attacks got more potent.

Pixie Bob was seen trying to use her Quirk to contain them but, eventually, even she was overpowered by the immense number of clones that Toga was producing. Toga soon launched her ultimate move, Sad Man's Death Parade, which increased the number of clones that she produced even further and swarmed the entire battlefield, especially those who were trying to defend against her ability and contain her. For now, there is no way to contain her ability and, by the looks of it, her growing anger is only pushing her even further.

What's more, the narrator made sure to highlight the fact that even if they find a way to contain her, the problem is that if the Heroes falter for even a second, they will end up dying, which is a harrowing thought and just a display of how scary her abilities truly are. Toga has become a monster that is way too hard for anyone to stop at this point and, in her own way, she poses a threat bigger than Toya did, which, once again, highlights the magnitude of the situation at hand for the character of Ochaco Uraraka.

The View Across The Battlefield

My Hero Academia chapter 391 focused primarily on Toga and Uraraka, however, fans also got to see bits from here and there across the battlefield. The Todoroki Family ended up receiving a few panels in this chapter and fans saw Shoto having passed out. In the previous chapter, he seemed as if he was at his limit, however, fans saw him pushing beyond that. Now that the threat of his brother has gone, it seems that Shoto has finally passed out and is currently resting. Fans also got a look at both Endeavor and Rei, and both of them are still on the battlefield with their children and will likely figure out what path to take on from here going forward.

For now, Horikoshi will not be focusing on that, given that the resolution is likely to follow once all battles conclude. Fans also got to see Iida in this chapter. Just like Shoto, Ida burned past his limits in the last few chapters and as soon as he got his friend to where he wanted, his engine was seen bursting. This means that he is not in good shape and the moment, however, he is still conscious and wondering which direction the battle will take next. At his heart, Iida is a character who wants to help as many people as possible and it goes without saying that even now, his mind is probably figuring out ways to save more people.

Surprisingly, fans also got to see Hawks in My Hero Academia 391. As fans not already, Hawks was up against All For One and this battle was an uphill one for him. In the end, Hawks got his Quirk stolen by All For One and fans assumed that he would not be relevant in the war any longer. While he does not appear to be in any condition to keep on fighting, Hawks were seen standing up once again in My Hero Academia chapter 391 and grabbing his sword. It appears that he intends to keep on fighting to save people and to see the next generation succeed, which is nothing short of admirable.

Whether Hawks' character will take a bigger role from here onwards or not remains to be seen, however, judging by his physical condition and the level of strength that he possesses currently, a betting person would say no.

Toga And Uraraka

The biggest part of My Hero Academia chapter 391 was certainly the clash between Toga and Uraraka. The latter finally caught up to Toga in this week's chapter and fans know that she has been doing her best in trying to speak some sense into the former. After getting to her, Uraraka tried to tell her that she does understand her feelings as they are. Bringing forth the fact that when they met for the first time, she was a different person from what she is now, Uraraka hoped that Toga might be more willing to have a conversation, however, it seems that is not going to be the case without a fight first.

Uraraka also brought forward the fact that she knows why Toga can't exactly become Twice. Twice had the power to do whatever he wanted with his Quirk, however, Toga can't do that and that is because she has let her hateful feelings get mixed in with her love and only love can help her bring out the best of her abilities. This might be true to a certain degree, however, Toga was seen getting antagonized by this even further. According to her, Uraraka does not understand what she is going through, however, fans can clearly see that she is, in fact, trying her best to understand.

From here onwards, My Hero Academia looks like it is going to see the two girls break into a fight where Uraraka tries to speak sense into Toga while being at receiving end of her rage. Strangely enough, the end of the chapter felt rather abrupt. In fact, the entire chapter felt on the shorter side and this might be because of the author's health. Fans already know that Horikoshi is struggling quite a bit at the moment and has been taking quite a lot of sudden breaks as well. For now, all eyes are on My Hero Academia chapter 392, which will likely see the conflict between these two girls escalate even further.
