My Hero Academia: The New Number One Hero After The War, Explained

With a new age coming, who is the best candidate for becoming Japan's number one hero after the war in MHA?

Stealth and the element of surprise are some of the biggest advantages a side can have in a war, and in a series like this where the heroes and villains constantly go up against each other while incorporating elaborate schemes, the ability to move around undetected can be a game-changer. With that in mind, here are some of the best stealth quirks in My Hero Academia, ranked

.

7 Frog

Gives The User The Characteristics Of All Frog Types

  • User: Tsuyu Asui

Tsuyu Asui’s Frog Quirk turned her into a hybrid of a frog and a human. This comes with increased reflexes, mobility, and the ability to hide her scent, but the cream of the crop is her ability to camouflage herself like a chameleon. Due to being cold-blooded, she can match the temperature of her surroundings when she enters this camouflage mode to prevent herself from being discovered by infrared sensors.

However, she does not become completely invisible like her classmate Toru and can be discovered if they simply looked hard enough, as the movement of light in that area would not look natural, but it is still more than enough to help her sneak up on some enemies and take them down.

6 Anivoice

Allows The User To Control And Communicate With Animals

Koji Koda with animals Anivoice
  • User: Koji Koda

Koji Koda might be a mutant, but his quirk is in no way related to his appearance, as it allows him to communicate with and control any animal just by simply telling them what to do. He eventually awakened his quirk following the final battle and was able to communicate with animals telepathically, despite needing to vocally talk to them at first.

My Hero Academia: Hanta Sero's Tape Quirk, Explained

Hanta Sero is one of many heroes in My Hero Academia, and his quirk is perfectly suited for tying up loose ends and preventing villains from escaping.

He uses these birds, bugs, and little animals to gather information or provide distractions, which will help get him out of sticky situations or get by unnoticed.

5 Black

Allows The User Slip In And Out Of Anything Black

Shihai emerges from the shadows
  • User: Shihai Kuoroiro

Shihai Kuroiro is a member of Class 1-B whose quirk is quite a good representation of his personality. His Black gives him the ability to merge with objects that have a black color or places that are dark, like environments where shadows have been cast. When he has blended with this darkness, he can travel at really high speeds, with the sole condition that whatever medium he has chosen remains stationary.

In that state, his speed can only be rivaled by people with speed enhancement quirks, but his quirk can also be foiled by light.

4 Invisibility

Keeps The User In A Steady State Of Invisibility

  • User: Toru Hagakure

Toru Hagakure, otherwise known as Invisible Girl, is one of Midoriya’s classmates whose quirk allows her to be invisible all the time. Although this is not something she cannot turn off, she is only recognized by floating pieces of clothing. Her own classmates and even the viewers have a hard time noticing her, making her the audience’s prime suspect when a traitor is said to be among the Class 1-A students.

Toru goes unnoticed quite easily, except someone is on the lookout for her, and they must have great senses as well. This makes her quirk very good at stealth and getting by without alerting anyone.

3 Warp Gate

Creates A Black Cloud Teleportation Gate

Kurogiri's Quirk Warp Gate From My Hero Academia
  • User: Kurogiri

It was eventually revealed along the line that Kurogiri is a sentient High-End Nomu tasked with protecting Shigaraki Tomura. His importance to the League of Villains cannot be understated, as he is responsible for the logistics of the team. His Warp Gate quirk is one created by combining other quirks, and it allows him to create a black, thick fog that teleports anything it comes in contact with to a location specified by him.

These villains shine in MHA's Final War arc.

This quirk has helped Kurogiri and his associates infiltrate several places that they otherwise would not have access to, like when they commenced the raid on U.A. High School.

2 Transform

Allows The User Transform Into Anyone

Himiko Toga Looking for Blood
  • User: Himiko Toga

Transform is probably the quirk most suited for stealth operations, but the reason it is not ranked as the highest is because of the condition needed for the transformation to hold up. Himiko’s quirk allows her to transform into a person of her choice, retaining their voice and their clothes if she wishes. Following her awakening, she could even replicate the person’s quirk, and all that was made possible by ingesting the target’s blood.

She can even rotate between the transformations of multiple people if she ingests their blood, making this ability really handy for reconnaissance missions. However, the duration of the transformation is directly proportional to the amount of blood she ingests.

1 Permeation

Allows The User Slip Through Any And Everything

Mirio Togata defeats all of Class 1-A.
  • User: Mirio Togata

Mirio Togata’s quirk sounds like a really amazing one, and he even uses it better than most people would think. His quirk allows him to become intangible and shift through matter, including walls and the ground, and while this appears great, Even light, sound, and air pass through him, meaning that while he is in a state of intangibility, he loses his sight, hearing, and ability to breathe.

He can also move at high speeds by entering an object and propelling himself out of it by deactivating his quirk, making his quirk suited to stealth.
