The following contains spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 380, "A Skosh," by Kohei Horikoshi, translated by Caleb Cook available in English from Viz Media.

My Hero Academia was on a long break following a sudden hiatus that was announced 3 weeks ago. Finally, Kohei Horikoshi has made his return to Jump and he delivered quite a jam-packed chapter. While nothing too special happened in this week's chapter, My Hero Academia 380 was cramped with a lot of ongoing incidents.

Fans got a look at various ongoing battles and, as expected, the war rages on. Expectedly, the manga chapter picked up from the events that were triggered recently over the past chapters, and a good look was given to the fans concerning Gentle, who just returned to battle. It appears that Horikoshi isn't done introducing old characters as another bunch made their appearance in this week's chapter. My Hero Academia 380 gives the fans a glimpse at that, and much more.

Gentle And La Brava Combine

Gentle and La brava made their appearance a few chapters ago. Very few fans expected them to take the center stage in the Final War and quite a significant number had even forgotten about them. Yet, Horikoshi did brilliantly to include them in the Final War and now, they are responsible for saving the entirety of UA. Against all odds, they managed to pull this off in this week's chapter. My Hero Academia 380 saw Gentle reach the limit of his abilities as his powers started to weaken.

At the same time, the business unit of Heroes from the U.A. did their part in recording everything that was going on. In the meanwhile, La Brava used her powers to regain control over UA and, as exclaimed by Gentle, the island felt much lighter towards the end, meaning control over it had been re-established. This fixes one problem for the Heroes temporarily, however, it certainly is not enough as there are other problems that require their immediate attention. Despite everything, the Heroes are still losing this war at the moment and they need to do much more than just establish control over their territory in order to come out victorious in this clash.

All For One's Plan

One massive problem for the Heroes now is Shigaraki. As fans know, he is a menace and to defeat him, Deku will need to surpass all his limits. This is true now more so than ever because all the limiters placed on him, thanks to the likes of Aizawa and Monoma, have not been removed. Thanks to Kurogiri, both Aizawa and Present Mic have now been removed from the battlefield and they will most certainly face their old friend alone somewhere in the upcoming chapters. Meanwhile, All For One, the actual biggest Villain in the entire story, appears to be heading towards Shigaraki to establish control over his body.

Things did not look like they were going his way a few chapters ago and surprisingly, he seems to have dealt with Hawks for the most part in this chapter. That said, Hawks still had some life left in him and tried his best to stop him but was largely unsuccessful. All For One is in his prime and it must be remembered that this is a character who was able to injure even the likes of All Might severely. For him, Hawks is no more than a mere fly and the difference in power was clear in this week's chapter when the two clashed. Hawks is using every bit of his energy to save the next generation of Heroes and protect those fighting with their lives on the line. That said, he is up against the greatest Villain of all time and is fighting a losing battle.

Shiketsu High Arrives

My Hero Academia 380 would have seen the end of Hawks had it not been for an unlikely ally that popped up towards the end of the chapter. Students from Shiketsu High made their mark and, once again, Horikoshi has reintroduced characters from the previous arcs that fans had grown to love. Just as All For One was about to kill Hawks and blow him to smithereens, it was none other than Camei Who saved his life. Shortly afterwards, Inasa also made an appearance alongside her and it was revealed that their previous responsibility was looking after the civilians and handling the evacuation. Now, nothing is stopping them from joining the battle and, finally, they are here.

Inasa went on to brazenly exclaim that the winds of faith can't be blowing in All For One's favor as he is the one who controls the winds. While they are full of life and vigor, their enemy is the greatest Villain of all time, and stopping him is certainly not going to be easy for any of them. Their goal here is to assist Hawks in stopping All For One for as long as they possibly can. Whether or not they can successfully achieve that remains to be seen. My Hero Academia's chapter was certainly a breath of fresh air for the fans and one that elevated the hope in this arc for the Heroes to new levels.
