The following contains spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 375, "Chaotic Confusion," by Kohei Horikoshi, translated by Caleb Cook available in English from Viz Media.

My Hero Academia returned from a two-week-long break with quite an interesting chapter this week. Fans were expecting for the action to stay centered around Deku and the likes of All For One, however, Horikoshi, the author of the story, decided to take the action elsewhere. While the last chapter threw quite a lot of focus on Kurogiri and covered, by extension, the majority of the members of the League of Villains, also known as the Paranormal Liberation Front, this chapter did quite the opposite.

The majority of this chapter was focused on Himiko Toga, who fans have not seen much of for quite a while now. Towards the end of the last chapter, a body of Twice appeared with Kurogiri and it was self-explanatory that this was none other than Toga using her powers, however, fans did not expect the author to focus an entire chapter on her. That, and a bit more, was tackled in My Hero Academia 375.

My Hero Academia 375: Toga Vs. Uraraka And Tsuyu

My Hero Academia 375 began with Toga fighting against Tsuyu and Uraraka. This fight has been going on for quite a while now and Toga has done more than well to hold her own against these two powerful opponents. At the same time, this fight also bodes well for Ochaco and Atsui. Fans know Horikoshi to be an author who does not flesh out his side characters all that well. Even among his side characters, the female characters suffer especially. It goes without saying that they have not received as much screen time as they would have deserved, however, this chapter certainly a bit of justice to them, especially to Toga.

While Tsuyu and Uraraka didn't do much in the chapter, Toga certainly showed her shrewd nature and her indomitable will to perfection. Not only was she able to run away from her pursuant quite effectively, but she was also able to display her wit, which often goes unnoticed. It must be remembered that Toga is one of the smartest characters in the Paranormal Liberation Front and this chapter showed the fans just that. At the same time, she was able to deal effectively with both of them, showing her superiority in terms of combat. While fighting them, she showed the ability to calmly analyze the situation and calculate what the best course of action for her would be.

As fans know already, Toga can ingest blood and take on the appearance of anyone. What's more, she can also use their Quirk abilities, which is a skill that she awakened during the Meta Liberation War arc. Now, Toga has chosen to ingest the blood of her dear old friend, Bubaigawara, who was killed during the previous war. While Toga gambled, things ended up playing in her favor when Kurogiri showed up right in front of her.

My Hero Academia 375: Toga Unleashes Her Power

My Hero Academia 375 focused heavily on Toga's ability. Fans know her power to be one of the most dangerous ones to exist in the world of My Hero Academia and here, she showed the fans just that. By unleashing her Quirk to its fullest, Toga was able to take on the appearance of Jin Bubaigawara and with that, she gained access to his powerful quirk, Double. As fans know, with the power of the Double Quirk, Gin could multiply himself countless times. In fact, theoretically, making even infinite doubles of him would be possible. Now that Toga has consumed his blood, she's gained access to this ability and she used it towards the end of the chapter.

To her benefit, Kurogiri showed up right at the end and took her with him to the main battlefield. Now, Toga has unleashed the full power of her Quirk and created infinite clones of her body. With that, she has spread all over the battlefield and this will severely turn the tides of battle. Things have gone from bad to worse for the Heroes. Dabi has also shown up on the battlefield and now Toga has unleashed an army of clones as well. It looks increasingly impossible for the Heroes to deal with them, even though they have the likes of Deku on their side.

Endeavor and Hawks are already extremely tired, as are the rest of the Heroes. They have face d significant losses here and a victory looks nowhere inside. That said, not all the Heroes have lost faith. My Hero Academia 375 showed that the Heroes are still standing and fighting. Even Uraraka and Atsui followed Toga to the main battlefield and it is likely that their fight will continue there. My Hero Academia 375 was quite possibly one of the tamer chapters in the latest run, however, it was important in building Toga's character, and from here onwards, things can only get better.
