MultiVersus has revealed a brand-new stage set to be included with the game's release next week, featuring the iconic Powerpuff Girls hometown of Townsville. The crossover platform fighter from Warner Bros. and Player First Games has already seen plenty of excitement from fans for its diverse cast of characters from all different media. The game will feature everything from The Matrix and Game of Thrones to DC characters and even Rick and Morty joining MultiVersus. Now, a new reveal from the game is teasing an iconic cartoon location for its full launch.

While MultiVersus includes a wide array of different characters from Warner Bros. properties, one of its main brands in Cartoon Network has been well-represented. Popular cartoon Steven Universe has seen multiple inclusions in the main roster, with both the titular protagonist and supporting character Garnet playable. Adventure Time's Jake the Dog and Finn the Human are also playable within MultiVersus, alongside classic Warner Bros. characters like Bugs Bunny and Taz. Now, The Powerpuff Girls is the next franchise to see its official addition to the platform fighter.

One MultiVersus fan notices that the game might be doing away with one of its five character classes ahead of its much anticipated relaunch. 

A new "Stage Showcase" trailer from MultiVersus is showing off the game's first Powerpuff Girls representation with the City of Townsville as a playable stage. The stage features multiple nods to the Powerpuff Girls cartoon, battling atop the roof of Townsville City Hall with iconic settings like Malph's and the Townsville Museum in the background. Townsville also features an exclusive stage gimmick, with classic villain Mojo Jojo attacking players and destroying parts of the stage. Mojo Jojo is also destructible within the stage, with players able to attack him to make his ship crash.

MultiVersus Reveals New Powerpuff Girls Townsville Stage

While a Powerpuff Girls character has yet to be confirmed for MultiVersus, the full release of the game looks to have several new cast members on the way. Warner Bros and Player First recently announced Friday the 13th's horror movie icon Jason Voorhees as the newest character to come to the game. MultiVersus director Tony Huynh also revealed that he is pushing heavily for Warner Bros. to include Breaking Bad's Walter White in MultiVersus, with disputes reportedly coming down to ownership of the character.

With MultiVersus set to release fully next week, the game will welcome back plenty of fans who tried out the platform fighter during its previous beta tests. MultiVersus confirmed that players who played the game during beta will receive the Season 1 Battle Pass for free, with the previously mentioned Jason available through the premium battle pass. Beta players will also receive a special skin for Finn, as well as an announcer based on Adventure Time's Banana Guard. MultiVersus looks to make waves with its full launch coming on Tuesday.
