With a history as long as Warner Bros, there are almost endless possibilities for characters and skins. Players' minds could run rampant when considering the variant options for long-running brands like DC Comics, Looney Tunes, and the Cartoon Network. Even with just the launch of season one, MultiVersus has included some cool and interesting variants for their current cast of characters.

10 President Morty

Fans of Rick and Morty have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Morty, the first character added to the roster since the game’s debut. While players have known of his impending arrival for a while, they didn’t know that there would be a President Morty variant.

President Morty is an evil version of Morty, derived from the seventh episode of the third season of the series entitled, “The Ricklantis Mixup.” There are countless amounts of Ricks and Mortys at the Citadel, but President Morty might be the most devious and powerful of them all.

9 I’m Freaking Robin

The inclusion of LeBron James in MultiVersus delighted NBA and Tune Squad fans alike. His unique specials and attacks make him a force to be reckoned with. His default Tune Squad uniform skin is a great choice when partnering up with Bugs or Taz, but Lebron has a variant that helps him blend in with another group of fighters.

LeBron’s boy wonder outfit is a reference to a particular scene in Space Jam when he and Bugs are off in Metropolis recruiting members for their basketball team. Excited at first to see who he’ll turn into, LeBron is less than enthused when it turns out to be the Cape Crusader's sidekick.

8 Jake The Starchild

Every Adventure Time fan’s favorite magical dog, Jake, was an excellent addition to the MultiVersus roster. To go along with his classic yellow appearance, there is an option to use his ‘Jake the Starchild’ variant.

This five-eyed, blue-skinned creature may seem like an entirely different character, but it’s actually a version of Jake that resulted from the events of a storyline in the ninth season of the show. Ultimately, he reverts to his usual yellow form in season 10, but Jake the Starchild was born.

7 Bloodlines

Wonder Woman Bloodlines

Wonder Woman has to be one of the most played characters in MultiVersus, as she is unlockable by simply completing the game’s tutorial. The DC Comics matriarch has a rich history through her comic book, film, and television appearances, giving the developers many options to choose from when creating her variants.

Her ‘Bloodline’ skin is pulled from the 2019 animated film Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. Initially released digitally, the film focuses on Diana taking on a plethora of enemies, all while sporting a rad new look.

6 Pirates Tom & Jerry

Tom and Jerry MultiVersus Pirates

Created in 1940 by William Hanna and Joesph Barbera, Tom and Jerry are two of the most well-known cartoon characters of all time. MultiVersus forces the rivals to work together as one, which gives them a fighting style unlike any other character at launch.

While Tom and Jerry’s high jinks have led to many hilarious costumes, the developers hit it out of the park by including their pirates variant. The look is taken from a 2006 direct-to-video film called Tom and Jerry: Shiver Me Whiskers, which served as a pilot for the television series Tom and Jerry Tales. A classic look for two classic characters.

5 Batman The Animated Series

The world’s greatest detective has been thrilling audiences long before Robert Patterson put on the cowl. Introduced all the way back in 1939, the hero of Gotham has donned many batsuits over the years. For his first variant, MultiVersus opted to go with a fan favorite.

Batman: The Animated Series is considered by many to be one of the greatest animated television shows of all time. The show introduced the Dark Knight to a whole new audience and helped spawn additional shows, creating a shared DC animated universe. This variant pays homage to the show’s signature style.

4 Uncle Shagworthy

40% of the Mystery Inc. team has landed in MultiVersus, with Shaggy and Velma ready to solve the mystery of who’s the best fighter in the game. While Scooby-Doo fans will be sure to recognize Shaggy’s amazing variant, others may think they simply put him in a robe.

Uncle Shagworthy is indeed Shaggy’s uncle. He was introduced to the world in 1976 on the sixth episode of the Scooby-Doo Show, an episode entitled, “Scared a Lot in Camelot. Shaggy and his friends were tasked with helping his uncle take care of a couple of ghosts who were after his valuable jewels.

3 First Fusion Garnet

First Fusion Garnet Multiversus Steven Universe

Out of all the characters in MultiVersus, Garnet might have the most interesting backstory. She’s an ageless alien warrior who was created when two magical gemstones fused together. When partnering with her Crystal Gem teammate Steven, she’s a tough matchup for any MultiVersus opponent.

Her ‘First Fusion Garnet’ look stems from a second season episode of Steven Universe. On Steven’s birthday, Garnet tells him the story of her creation. This leads the audience to see her first-ever form, a vibrant pink and blue variant that wonderfully pops on screen.

2 Task Force X

Suicide Squad James Gunn

Harley Quinn made her debut in Batman: The Animated Series and has been a fan favorite ever since. When she’s not causing trouble with the Joker or taking on Batman, Daddy’s Lil Monster can often be found working off her jail time as a member of the elite government task force known as the Suicide Squad.

DC fans of course know that Task Force X is another name for the Suicide Squad, and this particular Harley variant resembles the outfit she wore in James Gunn’s 2021 film The Suicide Squad. The skin embodies Margot Robbie’s take on the character and definitely lets her opponents know that she’s one tough cookie.

1 One Million

Superman One Million Prime Multiversus

Everyone knows Superman, the alien from Krypton who becomes the hero of Earth. He was created in 1938 and has been featured in every type of media that one could think of. Over the years he’s had many different looks, but his classic blue and red suit is as iconic as it comes. To top that, the creators of MultiVersus had to reference the most powerful version of Superman that has ever existed.

The ‘One Million’ variant alludes to DC One Million, a late nineties comic book miniseries that is about a potential future. This timeline’s Superman is known as Superman Prime, who in the 853rd century is ultra powerful and has only survived by becoming the living extension of the sun. His glistening goldish look makes him quite the imposing figure on any MultiVersus battlefield.

MultiVersus is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
