Despite being criticized as a Nintendo Smash Bros. knock-off, MultiVersus's ability to create a unique identity and stand out as a fighting game is primarily due to its boasting character roaster. Fans getting to see their favorite superheroes pitted against some of the most nostalgic characters in the same arena is a dream come true, and Diana Prince is one of them.

Ever since Gal Gadot took up the mantle of playing Wonder Woman on the big screen, the fierce female delivering brutal punches with a sweetness on her face has picked up the rage once again. The success of Wonder Woman put the DCEU in contention again back then, and now it's time for her to showcase her sly savagery in video games. For all her fans looking to step into her shoes in Multiversus, here's a guide.

Basic Attacks

wonder woman in MultiVersus

The Amazonian warrior princess is categorized under the Tank class in the game, and it would have been a weird decision if she wasn't. Sharing the roster with Superman, Tank class characters deal heavy damage and invariably can minimize the damage sustained. However, they do have a bit of a drawback, as most heavy attacks require a supercharge. But even in such a case, Wonder Woman packs a list of uber-cool moves.

Move TypeMove NameDescription
Neutral GroundSword of AresA charge-up sword attack has Diana swing her sword once top-down and deal heavy damage to the opponent. Again, considering that the move is a charged one, the damage rate is directly proportionate to the fill of the charge meter.
Neutral AirWhirling SwordDiana whirls around with her sword, causing damage to enemies in either direction. Although this does not require the charge up, it still deals a hefty blow that would break enemy armor.
Side GroundAmazon ComboThis three-hit combo attack uses Diana's sword to deliver a swift slash, a sweep kick from the SnyderCut, and ends it with a shield Bash, knocking opponents backward by a considerable distance. Although she doesn't break enemy armor, the move deals with significant damage to the opponent at the receiving end.
Side AirFlying SlashAnother basic attack, this one has her drop slash her enemies with her sword, in the ways of the Amazons.
Up GroundShield BashWith this charge-up attack, Diana delivers a powerful uppercut with her shield, sending her enemy almost outside the game screen. Again, more charge equals more damage and height the opponent travels.
Up AirRising KickDiana leaps upwards, delivering an over-the-head rounded kick to the opponent in contact. This move deal significant damage, and her swag while doing it would make Christian Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimović proud.
Down GroundAmazon ShoutThis is the move that made Wonder Woman iconic outside the gaming industry. It's a charge-up where Diana lets out a shout as she charges. The best thing about this one is that the screams last for the entire duration of the charge-up, almost like a Dragon Ball Super Saiyan transformation. Once fully charged, she fires out her iconic bracer charge that causes damage to nearby enemies. The more the charge, the more the distance of the bracer quake.
Down AirFalling SpearAlthough the move name sounds slightly over the top, Diana doesn't really use a spear. She performs a basic from the top sword down move that makes the sword look like a spear. It still looks cool, though. Such cool moves make one wonder, how a standalone action game with Wonder Woman would play.
