Gone are the days when animated memes of Super Saiyan Shaggy took the internet by storm. Cut to the current times, Shaggy is now an all-important character in Warner Bros. MutliVersus game, and the fans could not have asked for more. The ever-hungry character from the Scooby-Doo franchise is the standard fighter in the game, helping players get through the tutorials and understand what the game has in store.

As the game is still working its way through the roots, Shaggy has slowly become one of the most sort-out characters from the present roster. However, there are a few things that the players should be aware of before sharing a snack with him. Shaggy falls under the bruiser category on the basic front, giving him a good health bar and causing heavy melee damage. Like the other characters in the game, the lanky legend has his own way of leveling the play field and doing everything with swag!

Combo Meal is a combo attack with several punches before finishing with a headbutt to the opponent.

Another super-charged horizontal attack, but while midair this time.

A charged overhead swing attack deals with medium to heavy damage depending on the opposition.

Up Air Attack: Flying Smacker Smack

A basic and straightforward upward attack while midair.

A super-charged ground-down attack provides additional armor as a reward while breaking opponents' armor on the other side. Also, Shaggy can earn an additional combo.

Special Attacks

Multiversus - Shaggy About To Hit Velma With A Charged Up Instinct Kick

Neutral Special: Zoinks!

Requires a well-built-up charge but shows its effects with rich dividends. With a fully filled gauge, Shaggy is seen embalmed in a large, pulsing aura that provides more damage and critical hits with every strike done during the phase. Super Saiyan Shaggy for the win!

Side Special: Chiller Instinct Kick

A simple and effective kick in either direction deals with low to moderate damage depending on the charge meter.

Down Special: Like, Feed the Hunger

Shaggy has been known for making the most bizarre munchies and snacks out of whatever is at his grab. The game makes the best use of this particular character trait and allows shagging to spawn a sandwich out of nowhere. But however, the next comes as a surprise as fans of the show know Shaggy does not waste food. However, in the game, the ultimate grand chef decides to throw them at other characters in the arena, including allies. Sandwich hitting the foes deal significant damage, while the ones hurled at the teammates provide HP.

Up Special: Power Uppercut

Power Uppercut thrusts Shaggy into the air while uppercutting his opponents to the heavens. The further the player gets the uppercut going, the more damage it does to the opponents. Players familiar with the finishing move of Sagat from Street Fighter would find this perfect!

Down Air Special: Like C'mere, Man!

The attack provides shaggy extra armor (only during the period of the attack) and deals hefty damage to any or all nearby opponents. While the attack is special on its own, it plays out even better in rage mode (the Super Saiyan mode). In addition, it allows Shaggy to fire a Kamehameha of sorts at opponents, causing even more damage. The movie stands out from the rest in his set, as this is probably the only one that does significant damage from a distance.

Perk List

Shaggy Ultra Instinct Rage Power MutliVersus

Shaggy starts to learn his first perk at Level 2 and his last one at Level 13. The perks provide a variety of additional traits to the bruiser. Still, it is solely up to the player to choose these perks wisely based on their gameplay style.

Lumpy Space Punch at Level 2

Kryptonian Skin at Level 4

Equip Ally Perks at Level 6

Last Stand at Level 7

Signature Perk: One Last Zoinks at Level 8

Perk Training at Level 9

Signature Perk: Hangry Man at Level 10

Snowball Effect at Level 11

Retaliation-Ready at Level 12

Speed Force Assist at Level 13

However, from experienced players worldwide, One Last Zoinks and Hangry Man have been hailed as the best ways to play as Shaggy! But then again, those are pretty much signature perks that add an extra level of benefit to the signatures. With one last zoinks, Shaggy would have his rage meter filled full upon dealing 100 damage, while Hangry man provides a beefed up sandwich while using the “Like, Feed the Hunger” move.
