MultiVersus has released a new trailer showcasing Dexter's Laboratory, one of the game's upcoming stages. MultiVersus revealed the Dexter's Laboratory stage for the first time at the beginning of the year, and since then, players have been eagerly awaiting its release. It will join the stages that, like the MultiVersus characters, reference the universe of Warner Bros. properties.

Warner Bros released several maps during the beta, and each of these MultiVersus maps supported different game modes. The Sky Arena, a reference to Steven Universe, was a highlight for offering players great potential to perform combos and the most varied types of plays. The Tree Fort from Adventure Time has two variants, one for 4v4 battles and the other for 2v2 skirmishes. Like some other Warner Brothers games, the Batcave is in MultiVersus, with a middle arena that usually results in shorter matches. MultiVersus continues its streak of pre-launch reveals and finally showcases an anticipated stage.

Why Brawlhalla is a Different Breed From MultiVersus

Though they're both colorful platform-fighters with a cartoon-y art style, Brawlhalla and MultiVersus have one key difference that sets them apart.

MultiVersus has shared a new trailer showcasing the upcoming Dexter's Laboratory stage. The trailer reveals that the stage will have two versions, the first being a procedurally generated stage that scrolls infinitely. Because of the procedural generation, the stage will be different from match to match. The map contains random modules, and they have gadgets, buttons, conveyors, diodes, tubes, and holo-platforms. The second version offers a competitive experience, with a stage that has Super Smash Bros.-esque platforms and the laboratory in the background, with Dee Dee running around.

Could Dexter Be on His Way to MultiVersus?

With Dexter's Laboratory stage confirmed, MultiVersus players now hope for Dexter to join the game as one of the playable characters. While MultiVersus has yet to announce Dexter's entry into the roster, leaks hint that he will be added at some point. The odds have increased with the release of the launch trailer, which features a Dexter's Laboratory reference. The same trailer also has an Easter egg that teases the Powerpuff Girls in MultiVersus, another highly anticipated addition.

The journey to MultiVersus' launch day has been paved by exciting announcements, such as Jason Voorhees as a playable fighter, along with Agent Smith from The Matrix and Mark Hamill's Joker. MultiVersus revealed rewards for returning players, a preview of the Season 1 Battle Pass, adjustments to the game's combat, and a new monetization system. With May 28 drawing ever closer, MultiVersus players look forward to seeing what the game's launch and first season will be like.
