MultiVersus, the new massively-popular platform brawler by Player First Games, has a lot of cosmetics for players to peruse. There are unique "Variant" skins for characters, Badges, Ring Out VFX, Taunts, Stickers, and more.

But, one of the cosmetics that will find the most use is the Announcer Packs. For just 100 Gleamium (around 90 cents), players can purchase Announcer Packs for almost every character. With these packs, the character's VA will perform unique voice lines for the character selection screen, getting KO's in a match, taking the lead in a teams game, and more. Which MultiVersus Announcer Pack seems to be the best, at least so far?

15 Garnet

Multiversus - Garnet Singing To Build Rythym Stacks With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

Sadly, Garnet is at the bottom of this list, which is a shame because she's such a cool character with a unique voice (thanks to her VA being the acclaimed Estelle). But her calm speech, chill tone, and deadpan delivery actually work against her as an Announcer, and she feels like she adds less to the game than the default announcer does.

14 Steven Universe

Multiversus -Steven Universe Using His Shield With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

The line reading in Steven's Announcer Pack is great, but it doesn't really matter since this isn't Steven's original VA. Zach Callison, Steven's VA since the beginning of the show, has taken a step back from the limelight for a while now to focus on his mental health and wellness.

That's completely understandable, and MultiVersus VA Daniel DiVenere does a great job of making the character his own. However, fans of the character will always be able to tell.

13 Superman

Multiversus - Superman About To Punch Superman With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

Superman may be the most "white bread" choice a player could make for their Announcer. As a playable character, Superman has a lot going for him, especially for beginners, but who would ever pick him as their announcer?

Choosing Superman would be like having the option to choose the Announcer in Smash Ultimate from the 89 possible characters, and choosing Mario. Still, in terms of his lines and delivery as the Announcer, George Newbern does a fantastic job.

12 Wonder Woman

Multiversus - Wonder Woman Taunting In-Game With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

Wonder Woman is also a pretty tame pick for an Announcer, even though she has a more memorable voice and cadence to the way she speaks. VA Abby Trott has played Wonder Woman in both the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series, and her experience shows.

Trott has a subtle way of showing how different Diana is to those around, enunciating her sentences as and avoiding using contractions. But at the end of the day, Wonder Woman is just a bit tame in the actual context of her lines.

11 Batman

Multiversus - Batman Idol Animation In-Game With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

Of all the DC Heroes, Batman's Announcer pack is assuredly the best value for the Gleamium spent. Kevin Conroy is a renowned VA for the Caped Crusader, originally voicing him in the 1992 animated series, so having him return for this game and be an option as the Announcer is a huge plus.

Unlike Superman or Diana, Batman puts some "tang" on his lines for when a team is defeated. Superman gives the classic "You'll get them next time," but Batman's "Sorry, you lose" is harsher and more memorable.

10 Velma

Multiversus - Velma Carrying Velma With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

Kate Micucci, Velma Dinkley's VA in many of the Scooby-Doo animated series, has become the "iconic" voice for the character. As an Announcer in Multiversus, every line Velma utters gives off that same "um, actually" intellectual tone.

The lines are on-brand, the delivery is perfect, and this Announcer Pack is a must-buy for any Velma player or Scooby-Doo fan. Plus, it's always funny seeing Velma's voice line interactions with Steven Universe, considering Kate Micucci voices a prominent side character in that show, Sadie Miller.

9 Lebron James

Multiversus - Lebron About To Dunk On Shaggy With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

Now it's time to talk about Lebron James, the real-life man himself who made it into MultiVersus. Funnily enough, Lebron doesn't voice himself in the game; rather it's John Bentley, the voice behind several beloved characters. Lebron's Announcer Pack is worth getting simply because Bentley's voice is so soothing.

Not that Lebron can't act or voice act, but Bentley is more experienced in the field and does a lot to make this Pack worth it. For anyone that has heard Lebron's interactions with other characters in-game, the Announcer Pack is of similar quality, but a bit less memorable.

8 Arya Stark

Maisie Williams has absolutely earned a higher ranking for her Announcer lines as Arya Stark. While the actual words in the lines aren't anything too interesting (no references, jokes, etc.), the delivery is what makes Arya's Announcer Pack worth the cost.

Maisie puts a lot of emotion into the few lines each Announcer Pack has. She makes it perfectly sound like Arya is excited about a player's victory, or surprised at their defeat.

7 Harley Quinn

Multiversus - Harley Using Confetti Gun With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

Harley Quinn is assuredly one of DC's more popular characters in the last few years. In MultiVersus, this proves to be true as well for Ms. Quinzel as her Announcer Pack is a great buy.

Harley is a jokester, so of course, her Announcer lines will have a bit more of a jovial tone to them. Additionally, the delivery is perfect, as one would expect from the iconic Tara Strong. Lastly, her lines are also relatively unique, straying a bit from the standard "Choose your character," "You won," or "You lost."

6 Shaggy

Multiversus - Shaggy Charging His Rage In-Game With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

The Super Saiyan of MultiVersus, Mr. Norville Rogers, is more lovingly known as Shaggy. Shaggy's voice is probably one of the more iconic ones out there as far as cartoon characters are concerned, and a lot of this is due to his fantastic VAs (and live-action actors) like Matthew Lillard, who voices him here.

Shaggy's lines all have the overuse of "like" that Shaggy is known for. They've got his emotion and tone on them, and they're always energetic. All around, this pack makes for a great and funny choice.

5 Finn

Multiversus - Finn Tackling Finn With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

Finns are currently flooding matchmaking in droves, thanks to him being part of this current free character rotation in MultiVersus. However, he'd still have a ton of players thanks to how beloved of a character he is. The protagonist of Adventure Time quite literally grew alongside his audience and his VA, Jeremy Shada.

As an Announcer, he's one of the best. His lines are perfectly on brand for Finn, while also encapsulating the "mathematical" sort of energy that the show and character were known best for.

4 Bugs Bunny

Multiversus - Bugs Bunny Searching Through An Acme Box With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

Regarding cartoon character icons, there aren't many who can even compare to Bugs Bunny (especially in-game, considering his upcoming nerfs). This dastardly little rabbit has been making mischief since the 1940s and remains a fan favorite character to this day. One of the many reasons for that is due to the iconic voice of one Eric Bauza (who also does the voice for Tom and Jerry).

As an Announcer, Bugs brings his over-the-top energy and sarcastic charm to the lines. His "Aaaand we have a winner! Nice one Doc!" victory line, in particular, might be the best Announcer line in the game.

3 Iron Giant

Multiversus - Iron Giant About To Cannonball Superman With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

All the top three Announcer Packs are equally fantastic, only separated by each player's personal preference. Additionally, they all feature characters with by far the most memorable "voices" of the bunch. One of these is the absurdly deep Iron Giant voice of Jonathan Lipow.

Iron Giant's Voice Pack is hilarious because the audio mixing on it is, quite frankly, a little loud. IG's eardrum-reverberating voice lines massively overpower any other sound in the game when they come on.

2 Jake

Multiversus - Jake Punching Cake With A Stretchy Arm With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

For all the same reasons that Finn was a fantastic Announcer Pack choice for a player to spend their Gleamium on, Jake is all that and more. This character is the perfect representation of a down-to-earth best friend or chill uncle, at least until they start adding Mordecai or Rigby from the Regular Show.

A lot of the other Announcer lines come off as the VA making something the character wouldn't quite normally say still sound natural, such as Arya Stark talking about "points" for the blue or red team. But, all of John DiMaggio's lines for Jake immediately come off as something the character would naturally say.

1 Taz

Multiversus - Taz Seasoning His Chicken With Announcer Pack Icon Overlaid On Top

The Announcer Packs may be a tiny aspect of the game. But, the Announcer is something a player is going to hear hundreds or thousands of times, and for that reason, it's great to pick a hilarious Announcer whose lines never get old. Taz the Tazmanian Devil is exactly that.

The random word jumble and sputtering that he mixes into his lines is always good for a chuckle, and VA Jim Cummings' delivery is perfect. Plus, all of his lines are short, sweet, and to the point, just like his actual character gameplay is.
