Amassing millions of followers with his unbelievable giveaways and endlessly inventive video ideas, popular YouTuber Mr Beast has grown into one of the biggest channels on the platform in a short amount of time due to his constantly innovative content. From offering his friends thousands of dollars to see who can last the longest time on a constantly looping roller coaster to tipping a pizza delivery man an entire house, Mr Beast's ideas have made him a modern legend on YouTube, however, it seems his newest concept might be one of his best yet.

Announced in a tweet a few days ago, Mr Beast has decided to host a Rock Paper Scissors contest with others popular figures on the platform, with the YouTuber offering $250,000 to a charity of the winner's choosing. To make matters even more interesting, the event is taking place today, April 25, at 3PM PST (6PM EST / 11PM GMT).

It seems Mr Beast has also already announced exactly who will take part, with the YouTuber revealing the brackets yesterday evening. It seems the tournament will host a number of massive names from all different corners of the platform, including the likes of David Dobrik, Tana Mongeau, Jeffree Star, KSI, MatPat, Ninja, Pokimane, Tfue, and Casey Neistat. A number of these high profile YouTubers have tweeted out their excitement for the competition too, with several major names on the list already engaging in pre-game trash talk.

Competitor Lazarbeam called out his opponent, Ninja, claiming "I've been studying the archives," following up his hilarious threat with a picture of a Google search that simply reads "how to win Rock Paper Scissors." Meanwhile, Jeffree Star tweeted "This is gonna be so fun!! Everyone join us tomorrow," while Mini Ladd replied to Mr Beast's tweet boasting it was going to be an "EZ Win."

The event is undeniably another of Mr Beast's genius ideas when it comes to charity fundraisers, with the widely loved YouTuber quickly forming a track record for finding wholesome and deeply connecting ways of raising money for important causes. Last year, he started the Team Trees campaign, vowing to plant thousands of trees in an effort to help save the environment, while a number of his videos also see him give money to those in need. Naturally, the $250,000 charity prize pool is yet another extraordinary example of Mr Beast using his wide platform and genre of videos to give back to the community, and anyone interested should tune in when it debuts later today.

Mr Beast's Rock Paper Scissors contest will begin at 3PM PST.
