Now more than ever, Netflix and other streaming services are one of the few means of entertainment. That makes them even more motivated to regularly bring in new films and TV shows. This year will be full of such premieres as many new films and series of different genres will air on Netflix. There's a lot to look forward to as a result.

However, some films and TV shows simply have a bigger draw than others. Either thanks to the source material they use or because of a stellar cast or simply an interesting story. There are some new Netflix potential hits coming in that no-one should miss.

10 To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean

The heavily anticipated third film of the To All The Boys story arrives in February 2021. Lara Jean rejected John Ambrose in the last film. She and Peter Kavinski are happily dating, but things might very well change. After all, nothing lasts forever, and college is looming on the horizon. The film will finish the popular young-adult trilogy based on the books by Jenny Han. Lana Condor and Noah Centineo reprised their roles as Lara Jean and Peter, respectively.

9 Army Of The Dead

Not everyone might know that before Zack Snyder switched to superheroes, he directed different fantastical genres. In fact, one of his first films was the zombie horror Dawn of the Dead (2004). Snyder will come back to his roots thanks to Army of the Dead. The film will focus on a group of mercenaries who try to organize a casino heist. Things go south when zombies enter the picture. The film stars the Marvel actor, Dave Bautista, and it should premiere in summer 2021.

8 The Fear Street Trilogy

Technically, these are three movies, but it still counts. R. L. Stine is one of the most successful and prolific writers of horror for children and teenagers. The trilogy will draw inspiration from his Fear Street series. The first film will focus on a group of teenagers who face a dangerous threat. The second film will take place in a camp in 1978. And as horror fans well know, camps are ideal grounds for killers. Finally, the third film will show the heroes trying to solve their town's curse. The trilogy should come out sometime in the summer.

7 Don't Look Up

Of all the films on this list, this one has the most star-studded cast. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence play a duo of astronauts who try to persuade the world that a meteorite will soon destroy the planet.

Besides the main acting duo, the film is full of famous actors: Chris Evans, Meryl Streep, Timothée Chalamet, Cate Blanchett, and Jonah Hill. As a result, it's bound to draw a lot of attention to itself. And despite the film's plot, Don't Look Up it's supposed to be a comedy.

6 Red Notice

Red Notice will interest both fans of superhero actors and those who enjoy action movies. Dwayne Johnson plays an Interpol agent. His mission is to track down an art thief. The film also co-stars Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman). Even though it's primarily an action film, it should also contain humorous scenes and banter between the characters. The film doesn't have a release date at the moment.

5 Shadow And Bone

Netflix rules when it comes to airing fantasy shows with badass female heroines. Shadow and Bone could be another similar piece to add to the collection. It focuses on a young fighter who learns she has magic powers. She will try to save the world from evil but many enemies will stand against her. A newcomer, Jessie Mei Li, will play the main part of Alina Starkov. Shadow and Bone is based on the successful book series by Leigh Bardugo.

4 Halston

Halston

Ewan McGregor has plenty of interesting films in his resume. And Ryan Murphy has created excellent TV shows such as American Horror Story or the recent Hollywood. Halston is the result of their cooperation.

McGregor stars as the first American celebrity fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick. Unlike other TV shows on this list, Halston is a miniseries and it should have five episodes in total. Rory Culkin co-stars in the series.

3 Jupiter's Legacy

Superhero shows are a huge hit, especially those based on Marvel or DC superheroes. However, Jupiter's Legacy chooses a different approach. Based on a comic book series by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely, it focuses on superhero parents who want their children to eventually take over. But things don't go according to plan when the younger generation doesn't do as their parents expected. The series stars Josh Duhamel, Ben Daniels, and Leslie Bibb.

2 Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

Resident Evil started out as videogames but it eventually moved into other cultural areas as well. It became a film series and even sprung up a few novels. Now, a TV show will premiere. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will focus on Resident Evil 2 protagonists Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy. The animated series doesn't have a release date just yet but should premiere this year.

1 Masters Of The Universe: Revelation

Speaking of animated series, there's also Masters of the Universe: Revelation, directed by Kevin Smith. The series will follow characters from the He-Man franchise, more specifically Skeleton and Evil-Lyn. What's interesting about the series are the actors involved. Mark Hamill (Star Wars) and Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) will voice the main roles. The series will also include Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) or Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones). Its six episodes should come out sometime this year.
