Rika Furude is one of the cutest characters in Higurashi When They Cry who had multiple brutal deaths. Rika had to watch while the people she trusted the most killed her in different worlds over and over again.
One of the most nightmarish of Rika's deaths was when Akasaka stabbed her multiple times. Unfortunately, Rika didn't die instantly, so she could still see and hear her murderer stand in front of her before he finally killed her and then set the whole building on fire.
1 Puppy - Elfen Lied
Elfen Lied is one of the most emotional and violent anime shows with some truly heartbreaking and brutal deaths. However, its most disturbing one is when the bullies ruthlessly torture and kill Lucy's new puppy.
Since Lucy was also always bullied at the orphanage, the little puppy she found was her only comfort. However, after seeing the kids murder her dog so brutally, she couldn't control herself anymore and took revenge by violently killing the bullies.
