There's a new Mortal Kombat 1 mod that adds Uncharted's Nathan Drake. The brutal fighting game is known for doing crossovers with various franchises to add playable characters like Omni-Man, Peacemaker, and Homelander, and occasionally, there will be modders who insert other characters into Mortal Kombat 1.

Released last September, Mortal Kombat 1 has enhanced the gameplay with new features, such as Kameo Fighters, Air Combos, and even a Quitality when a player disconnects from a match. While the fighting game received positive reviews, it also got its fair share of criticism about issues like microtransactions and its disappointing Switch release. Despite this, many players are still having fun with the combat and the overall experience.

This isn't the first time an Uncharted mod was made for a Mortal Kombat game, as there are YouTube videos where Mortal Kombat 9 players use Nathan to grind the story mode. It won't be long before Mortal Kombat 1 players start uploading videos of their Uncharted-style gameplay. Meanwhile, many Mortal Kombat 1 players have been experimenting with other interesting mods, such as Spider-Man and J. Jonah Jameson skins and a dizzying first-person camera mod.

What's great about some of the Mortal Kombat 1 skin mods is that the creators choose the best characters to build these skins around. The Freddy Fazbear mod, for example, was made for Cyrax because they're both robotic characters. The Nathan Drake skin for Johnny Cage also fit well because both characters have dark hair, and the Uncharted protagonist actually looked great with Cage's swagger.

In terms of releasing content, Mortal Kombat 1 is far from done. It's currently in the middle of its second season, which features an Invasion Mode, new characters and cosmetics, and a number of bug fixes. Mortal Kombat 1 is also gearing up to release more of its Kombat Pack DLC early next year, which will introduce new playable characters like Takeda Takahashi and Quan Chi. There are also rumors that future DLC will feature crossover characters, such as Conan the Barbarian, Deathstroke, and even celebrity appearances from Megan Fox and Travis Scott.
