In Invasion Mode in Mortal Kombat 1, players will come across a number of challenges that cut them off from progressing or grabbing treasure. One of the Klues in the Shang Tsung’s Laboratory level is something called Another Test Subject. Behind this Klue is a skin for General Shao, so players will want to figure out how to get to the other side of this level and claim the chest. In order to do this, players will need to do a handful of things, and they might be a little confused about how to complete it.
The Frisky Level in Mortal Kombat 1
As players progress through the stages of the Invasion levels in Mortal Kombat 1, they will find a variety of Klues that lead to treasures. For some examples, Sun Do Festival has two Klues, the Living Forest three Klues, and Shang Tsung’s Laboratory has two. One of these is in a level called Chomp Chomp Hiss, and the second is on the level called Frisky. Frisky has players battling against Kitana, and the Klue to complete this level is "Another Test Subject." This is in reference to one of Shang Tsung’s Fatalities.
How to Complete Mortal Kombat 1's Frisky with the Klue Another Test Subject
As with all Invasions, players only have to kill Kitana once to successfully complete the level. However, with Frisky, players will need to play as Shang Tsung. Any other character battling against Kitana in this level will not be able to get to the treasure. After completing the round successfully, players will have to perform Shang Tsung’s close-range Fatality; it looks like this:

The Facebreaker button for Mortal Kombat 1 will depend on what platform it is being played on. PlayStation users will need to hit Square, Switch users will use Y, and Xbox controls will have it as X. This Fatality shows Shang Tsung grabbing hold of his opponent with his claws, then force-feeding them what appears to be lava before watching them melt away. While some players have suggested that any of Shang Tsung’s Fatalities will work here, it seems to only work with the second Fatality for most.
Once the Mortal Kombat 1 Fatality has been completed, the boxes that were in the way of player's progressing to the treasure chest will be cleared. Now, they can nab the Naked Ambition skin for General Shao and continue on their way through the lab.
