Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin contains enough side quests to keep even the most fanatic RPG fans busy for hours on end. Monster Hunter Stories 2 attempts to build a world with deeper lore than what is usually seen in the Monster Hunter series. Upon backtracking to Lulucion, observant Riders will see that the Mew in Town Felyne NPC has a request. The Mew in Town Felyne is found along the south edge of the plaza in Lulucion. This felyne has a bad case of homesickness, but it isn't made immediately clear where their family lives. The destination for this quest is actually the Felyne Shelter. There are multiple NPCs to speak to for the Big City Blues quest. The quest objective markers can be finicky in this area, but players will easily figure out which NPCs are the target by working the camera angle.
To finish out the subquest, players just need to return to Lulucion to pass on some words of encouragement to the Mew in Town Felyne. The ten Bottle Caps earned as a reward are nothing to sneeze at. Players can put this currency to immediate use for expanding their spaces at the stables or purchasing high-end gear. Bottle Caps can also be used to buy the tickets needed for co-op expeditions and getting a Palamute in Monster Hunter Stories 2.
Many other quests in Monster Hunter Stories 2 require players to go off the beaten path to explore or investigate. Those who want to complete as much of the game as possible and earn accolades for their Rider Cards will come across more than a few tricky hurdles.
While visiting Lulucion again, fans may also come across the Artifact Excavation quest that involves hunting for treasure in the Lamure region.
