Boatshells are an account item that, like other account items, are unique to a location. Collecting them rewards the player with 46 Kamura Points. While not used for crafting, they are usually the objectives for gathering quests and requests. Fortunately, unlike some gathering quests, Boatshells don't need to be hauled back to the chest at camp.

Monster Hunter Rise is the sequel to the massively popular Monster Hunter: World that was released in 2018. Since its release on the Nintendo Switch in 2021, there has been plenty of debate on which Monster Hunter title is the "best." While Monster Hunter Rise might not be as grand in terms of scale or as dense in terms of environment detail due to the limitations of the Switch, it does offer several enhancements on its predecessor. Fans were quick to adapt to the wirebugs and praised the weapon redesigns in general. Both titles have reviewed well amongst critics and fans alike, so the "competition" is more friendly than anything else.

Sunbreak will be the first major expansion for Monster Hunter Rise and is "coming soon" with more information being available this Spring. No matter what it may be, fans are sure to be in for a treat when the expansion eventually releases later this year.
