Players who spent all their time and energy crafting a multitude of armor sets in Monster Hunter Rise will find themselves repeating the process in the latest Sunbreak DLC. Although fully-upgraded High Rank armor is enough to tackle some earlier fights in the DLC's new Master Ranking, the "flimsy" armor won't stand up to the barrage of stronger monsters as players progress through the quests found in Elgado. Players will need to adapt to their new surroundings and upgrade their gear even further if they hope to make it through the Jungle and Citadel unscathed.

Thankfully, players will unlock the ability to craft Master Rank armors, which provide a huge defensive boost and come with their own share of skills and abilities that can help hunters thrive in the new locations, rather than simply survive them. There are some pretty useful Master Rank pieces sprinkled throughout the Blacksmith that players can put together but some of them require some new materials like Goldlite Ore. Here's where players can snag the new ore type in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

Goldlite Ore isn't too difficult to farm, thankfully, but players may have to make a few laps around an expedition before they manage to get their hands on it, depending on how much luck is on their side. The Rarity 8 ore isn't "common" and may take a few mining attempts for players to get all they need to successfully build whatever armors or Buddy gear they're after. To find Goldlite Ore, players need to head to the Sandy Plains, as it's the only place that outputs the new material. Players can gather it from either normal White Mining Outcrops or Blue Mining Outcrops in the area.

Thankfully, there are quite a few Mining Outcrops sprinkled throughout the Sandy Plains, so players should be able to find Goldlite Ore without having to constantly reload the area. Mining Outcrops will respawn shortly after they're gathered, so systematic players can simply run a route, mining all the nodes they can, and then return to the Main Camp to start the process all over again. Players can hop on the back of their trusty Palamute to make the process move a bit faster, and can also enlist the help of items like Dash Juice to keep their Stamina high. There are even certain Dangos that are capable of providing a boost to Stamina so hunters can zip between the outcrops as efficiently as possible.

Another helpful tip is to equip armor that makes use of the Geologist skill, as it will allow players the opportunity to collect materials from a node more than once. By utilizing some of these bonuses, players can quickly scrounge up all the Goldlite they need to craft some better armor and tackle some of the strongest foes found in the Sunbreak DLC.
