Sprout Search is a Request in Monster Hunter Rise's Sunbreak DLC that instructs players to deliver one Exquisite Sprout. While the Request summary does provide some information about where fans can find this particular item, it does not indicate its specific source. This may leave some players struggling to track down an Exquisite Sprout in Monster Hunter Rise, and this guide is here to point those fans in the right direction.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak - Where to Find Exquisite Sprout

As previously mentioned, the Sprout Search Request summary does provide a location that players should target when hunting for an Exquisite Sprout, and that location is the Shrine Ruins in Master Rank. It is not the creatures on this map that provide Exquisite Sprouts, though, as fans must collect them from the Shoot Patch gathering points that appear in Monster Hunter Rise's Shrine Ruins. To make this process as easy as possible, here is a map that denotes the positions of several Shoot Patches and details on how to reach them:

  • 1: To find the first Shoot Patch, Monster Hunter Rise players should start at the Shrine Ruins' main camp and navigate to the tent on their left. There is a Wirebug behind this tent, and fans should use it and then walk to the left after completing their ascent.
  • 2: The second Shoot Patch is on a cliff to the left of the stone arch in Area 1, and players can use their Wirebugs to reach it.
  • 3: Players should remain on the cliff where they found the second Shoot Patch and head to the right. The third Shoot Patch is at the edge of the cliff that overlooks Area 3.
  • 4: After jumping from the cliff, players should look to the north. There is a vine that can be scaled next to a small shrine in Area 3, and fans should climb to the top and keep to the path on the right to reach the fourth Shoot Patch.
  • 5: Players should now simply use their Wirebugs in Monster Hunter Rise to reach the area to the north, where the fifth and final Shoot Patch can be found.

To note, while fans should definitely receive at least one Exquisite Sprout from searching all these gathering points, the Shoot Patches will refill after approximately five minutes. Players that got very unlucky with their hunts for Exquisite Sprouts can thus check the gathering points again after a very short wait. Once a fan does have one of these items in hand, they should take it to Oboro to complete the Sprout Search request and receive the Mighty Cornpopper+ Gunlance in Monster Hunter Rise.
