These digital collectibles are found throughout Monopoly GO and add an extra layer of excitement to the game. What Happens to Stars After a Season is Over
All duplicate Stickers in Monopoly GO can be traded with friends for Stars, which can be used to unlock safes full of rewards in the Stickers for Rewards menu. If players have enough Stars before the end of the season, they can cash them out through one of the three safes (Green, Blue, Purple). The more Stars players exchange for a safe, the better rewards they’ll get from it. However, not all Stars get used up during a Sticker season.
Players can keep track of their Stars through the Stickers for Rewards page. It can be accessed through the Chest in the lower right corner of the screen under the Sticker Albums.
Unfortunately, when a new Sticker Album is intrdoced, all of your Sticker Albums and unused Stars will be wiped, including any Stars you’ve been holding on to. This reset system encourages players to actively use their stars during each season and not hoard them unnecessarily – as they’ll be useless once the season is over.
Depending on how many Stars they have, Monopoly GO lets players unlock the best safe possible, which will contain unique sticker packs for the new album. Any extra Stars after opening that one safe will be gone.
On the plus side, players will have a clean slate to start off their new season, giving them the opportunity to collect a new batch of Stickers and work toward a new set of rewards. The next Sticker set in Monopoly GO is the Monopoly Origins season. It comprises of 21 Sticker Albums and will end on March 28, providing players ample time to collect Stickers and turn them into Stars.
