The first act of missions in Modern Warfare Zombies will have players unlocking new weapons, perks, and upgrades for deployment in the zombie-infested Urzikstan. One of the first missions players will have to complete is the Road Rage mission, requiring players to kill 30 zombies with a vehicle and to repair a tire on a vehicle - doing so will unlock a Stamin-Up Can for use in the field along with awarding players 1500 XP.

Completing Road Rage

mw3 - repair tire - mission objective

Road Rage has two mission objectives that can be completed across multiple deployments.

30 Vehicle Kills

mw3 - repair tire - vehicle

The first part of Road Rage requires players to find a vehicle and kill 30 zombies with the vehicle. This can be pretty straightforward - use the Tac-map to locate a nearby vehicle and fight through the zombies to that location. Once in the vehicle, players can drive through different places of interest in the Tier I danger zone to find zombies. Alternatively, players can head to one of the higher threat areas to complete this objective rapidly by operating where zombies spawn quicker and in larger numbers. Keep in mind running zombies over does damage the vehicle and some vehicles can be drained of health almost instantly when colliding with hordes in threat areas II and III. Take note of any nearby gas stations that can be visited in case the vehicle's health or fuel level gets low - simply pull the vehicle into the station to begin the refueling process, identical to DMZ game modes. These 30 kills can be earned across multiple games, so if players lose the vehicle or run into any other complications, they can resume vehicle kills in a later game if necessary.

Repairing a Tire

mw3 - repair tire - shoot tire

MWZ adds a new vehicle feature to Call of Duty's open-world game types by allowing players to destroy and repair the tires of a vehicle, independent of the health of the rest of the vehicle. To repair a tire and complete the Road Rage mission, players must approach a vehicle, aim their weapon directly at the rubber on a tire, and apply consistent and precise damage to the tire until it blows. Once the tire is destroyed, players can approach the tire and use the interact/reload input to repair and replace the tire, restoring the functionality of the vehicle.

Once both objectives are complete, players will be awarded 1500 experience and a single-use Stamin-Up can that can be added to the backpack from the gear page in the lobby, giving players the ability to drink the soda at the start of the game, immediately receiving the Stamin-Up perk.
