Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season 4 is finally here, and with it comes a brand new battle pass full of rewards. Curiously, it seems that fans are somewhat divided on the contents of season 4's battle pass, with some claiming it is disappointing while others seem to be happy with its offerings.

Every season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is accompanied by a new battle pass with 100 ranks worth of rewards for diligent players to try and earn. Dedicated players can even win back the COD points spent on the battle pass by progressing through it far enough, and unique skins become available as well. This season, fans have a chance to play as Captain Price.

Despite Captain Price being a highly requested addition, some have found the rest of the battle pass rewards to be less than thrilling. While this may be a case of "you can't please everyone," there's definitely some merit to the disappointment.

Some highlights of the battle pass include a skin for the HDR, Iskra in the battle pass, a watch with a minimap on it, and of course, Captain Price himself. Beyond this, there doesn't seem to be too much that people are excited about, to the point where many are considering skipping out on the battle pass this season as a whole. One common complaint is that it seems as though Infinity Ward may have been banking on Price carrying the battle pass, but this is just speculation from fans.

Many are upset that despite Call of Duty: Modern Warfare adding Gaz to the game, he did not appear in the battle pass and is currently only available through the store. Iskra's inclusion further proves a trend, however, that generally the store-only operators become available in the next season's battle pass, so fans of Gaz that don't want to shell out money in the store should wait for season 5. Others were banking on seeing things like a Bikini-Top Mara or better skins for Price, but for the most part were all disappointed.

There are still some great offerings in this battle pass, however, and the full list can be found both in game or in the video above. Players will need to make their own decisions on whether or not the battle pass is worth the money and the grind after seeing what it has to offer in full.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
