The Zombies mode in Modern Warfare 3 can be overwhelming for any player, whether a beginner or experienced. Hordes of the undead swarm various locations across the map, attacking players and preventing them from exfiltrating safely. While having the best weapons in MW3 and suitable loadouts and attachments can help defeat the Zombies, players can increase their chances of survival with a Hellbound.

Hellbounds are dogs in MW3 that can help take down zombies, which makes them quite useful during a deployment. The dogs feature a hellish, dead appearance similar to the Zombies with flames all around. Players with dogs and the right rifles can easily overpower Zombies, complete challenges, and obtain valuable loot while traversing the map.

What Are Doghouses in MW3?

Doghouses in Modern Warfare 3 are locations where players can find dogs. These Doghouses resemble kennels, where the dogs live, waiting for a player to lure them out. Once lured out, they become a friendly companion for the rest of the game until their demise. Players who find dogs can explore the map with them as they extract items, secure loot, and tackle challenges.

All Doghouse Spawn Locations in MW3

Everything spawns randomly in the Zombies mode, including Doghouse locations. However, some of the possible Doghouse Spawn locations are:

  • Levin Resort
  • Popove Power
  • Orlov Military Base
  • Seaport District
  • Urzikstan Cargo
  • Old Town
  • Low Town
  • Zaravan City
  • Zaravan Suburbs
  • Sahn Manor
  • Hadiqa Farms

Doghouses don’t appear in these exact locations; instead, they spawn around these areas. So it’s essential to keep an eye out for the doghouse icon on the tac map. There are 16 Doghouses in MW3 spread across these locations in medium and high-level threat zones. Players won’t see all 16 Doghouses in a single deployment as only a handful appear.

Additionally, the Doghouse icon only appears on the tac map when players get close to the location, so exploring the map is crucial to finding a Doghouse. Once players are within the recommended radius, they will be able to see the Doghouse and interact with it.

If the icon fails to appear during a deployment, try looking at another location until the icon appears. Once players reach a Doghouse, they must present a Chunk of Flesh to lure the dog out. The Chunk of Flesh is obtained by using an explosive on a zombie. Once it explodes, collect the Chunk of Flesh and drop it in front of the doghouse. A friendly fiery will run out to greet the player, and they can pet the dog to show it love.
