Modern Warfare 3's kill prompts, including assault kills and operator kills, are nothing short of challenging, and they require players to grind hard and complete nearly impossible objectives. One such kill prompt is Point Blank kills, which has returned to Call of Duty after appearing in Modern Warfare 2.

Getting the point Blank kills in MW3 is quite difficult, as players have to be extremely close to their enemies for it to count. Although Point Blank kills are troublesome and terrifying, there are some tips players can implement to land them successfully.

Point Blank kills are gun kills that players earn by shooting targets at extremely close range (not more than 5 meters). The player must be within touching distance of the target for the kill to count. Point Blank kills are one of the most challenging kill prompts to execute, other than collateral kills, because of the risk they carry.

For one, players must run very close to their enemies, exposing themselves to attacks. Similarly, landing point-blank kills on large or medium-sized maps in Modern Warfare 3 is almost impossible. The chances of players running into enemies and getting close enough to get a point blank kill are practically zero.

Here are some tips for getting point blank kills in MW3:

1. Play On Smaller Maps

The chances of running into enemies at close range are much higher on smaller maps than on larger ones. So, players must play on maps like Skidrow and Rust, where they’ll have lesser distance to cover when approaching enemies.

2. Utilize Tactical Equipment

Since players must get up close and personal to get Point Blank kills, it’s wise to use tactical equipment for protection. Players can use Flash Grenades to blind their target as they get close or Stun Grenades to slow down the enemy as they prepare to fire. The goal is for the player to get as close as needed before the enemy can take them down.

3. Use A Hip-fire Build

To get a point-blank kill, go with a hip-fire build, as it’s more suited for close-quarters combat. Players should equip the best close-range weapon with Hip Fire Accuracy to increase the chances of landing a kill at a close distance.

4. Camp In Narrow Spaces

Enemies will likely crowd and bundle up in tight corners and narrow spaces, such as hallways and corridors. So, camp in these spaces to get close to targets undetected.
