PET FOOD is one of three Klues that Mortal Kombat 1 players can find in the Rampart Mesa during Season 6 of Invasions Mode. It's also one of only three Season of Reptile Klues that can be solved by using a Fatality: the other two being FROM THE SHADOWS and A WARRIOR'S DEATH.

Solving all of the Klues in Season 6 of Invasions Mode can be a little tricky, particularly for players who aren't too familiar with MK1 move names.

Solving the PET FOOD Klue can be a little tricky, at least for those who haven't yet figured out what they're supposed to be doing. Once they have, though, Mortal Kombat 1 players should have no trouble completing the node and claiming their rewards, one of which is a rather nifty Rare Relic.

Those hoping to complete the PET FOOD Klue will need to perform Li Mei's Roman Candle Fatality. They can do this by pressing Forward, Back, Forward, Front Kick (X on PlayStation, A on Xbox, or B on Switch) while standing at close range immediately after triggering the FINISH HIM screen. If done correctly, Li Mei will yank out her opponent's innards and light one end of their intestines like a fuse. She then kicks their head high up into the air, where the flame travels up what's left of the spinal cord, causing the head to explode like a firework upon ignition. After that, players will be returned to the map screen and the debris that had previously been blocking their path to the Klue chest will be destroyed.

PET FOOD Klue Rewards

Upon successfully completing the PET FOOD Klue, players will be rewarded with the Back Atcha Rare Relic, Ermac's Clutch of Shows Palette, and 250 Seasonal Kredits. They'll be able to use the latter to purchase time-limited cosmetics from the Seasonal Store, though should keep in mind that any unspent Seasonal Kredits will expire at the end of the season. As for Back Atcha, this Rare Relic allows players to reflect projectiles by perfect blocking and makes it so that the player's next attack following a perfect block pierces their opponent's armor. There is a downside, though, as equipping Back Atcha will make it impossible to block projectiles using regular blocks.
