Much like the one that preceded it, season 2 of Invasions Mode boasts plenty of great skins for Mortal Kombat 1 players to unlock. Some of these come as rewards for defeating certain enemies, while others can be found inside chests. When it comes to the latter, players will usually need to get their hands on an ornate key in order to get inside or solve a Klue to clear the debris that's blocking their route to the chest.

Mortal Kombat 1: How to Solve Every Klue in Season 2 of Invasions Mode

Solving every Klue in Season 2 of Invasions Mode is far from easy, but is well worth the effort due to the many great MK1 rewards that are on offer.

The second Fire Temple Klue that players will come across can be found in the Top Killers stage and simply reads Splish Splash. This should provide a pretty good indication as to the kombatant that will be needed to complete this challenge, though figuring out what exactly needs to be done to satisfy the requirements of the Splish Splash Klue can be a little tricky, as the game provides very little guidance.

In order to solve the Splish Splash Klue in the Fire Temple Mesa, players will simply need to perform any brutality with Rain. Thankfully, using The Klassic brutality is allowed, so even if players have never used Rain before, they'll be able to meet the requirements by pressing and holding down together with back punch (Triangle on PlayStation, Y on Xbox, or X on Switch) when their opponent is low on health. It's worth noting that Top Killers is an endurance stage, so players will only be able to do this against the last of the three enemies they face (Banshee Sindel).

Splish Splash Klue Rewards

Upon completing the Splish Splash Klue, the pots that had previously been blocking the player's path will be destroyed, granting access to the chest on the other side. If players open this chest, they'll be rewarded with Sub-Zero's Pulse of Winter skin, as well as a Legendary Talisman, Liu Kang's Scorched Vampire palette, and 500 Seasonal Kredits. The latter can be used to purchase new skins and palettes from the seasonal store, though will expire once Blood Moon comes to an end. As such, players should be sure to spend them before Season 3 of Invasions arrives.
