Smoke is a member of the Lin Kuei and one of the many iconic ninjas who have graced the Mortal Kombat franchise over the years. In certain installments, he's a cyborg, but in Mortal Kombat 1, he is made of flesh and blood and serves as the adoptive brother of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. He features fairly prominently in the main story, though doesn't get his own chapter like some of the game's other playable characters do. What he does get, however, is a couple of really cool Fatalities.

Mortal Kombat 1 players who want to perform Smoke's Hazed and Infused Fatality will need to press, back, forward, down, front punch while standing at any range. The Fatality sees Smoke slice off his opponent's arms and then shove an active grenade into their mouth, causing their jaw to be blown clean off. As blood pours out of their face and their lifeless corpse falls to the ground, Smoke and his chosen Kameo fighter take a few moments to strike a victory pose.

Like the previous one, Smoke's second Fatality can be triggered from any range, this time by pressing down, forward, back, back punch. The Fatality again starts with Smoke disappearing into a cloud of smoke. This time, however, rather than emerging from it, he remains unseen as he removes three of his opponent's limbs before slicing off the top of their head and launching it into the air. It's a pretty brutal Fatality when all's said and done, but one that's very much in keeping with Smoke's ninja background.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available now on PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.
