More often than not, Baraka ends up being cast as a villain, which makes sense really given his grotesque appearance. However, Mortal Kombat 1 paints him in a whole new light, with the Tarkatan teaming up with Liu Kang's chosen Earthrealmers to learn the truth about Shang Tsung's nefarious plan. Sadly, players don't get to spend too much time actually playing as Baraka in the game's story mode, but what little time they do spend with him shows just how powerful a kombatant he can be when in the right hands.
In addition to being an excellent ranged fighter, Baraka also boasts some of the most brutal finishers in the game. Better still, all of Baraka's Mortal Kombat 1 Fatalities are fairly easy to pull off, as long as players know which buttons they need to press and where exactly they should be standing. How to Perform Baraka's First Fatality in MK1 (Split Decision)

To perform Split Decision, which is the first of Baraka's Mortal Kombat 1 Fatalities, players will need to press back, forward, down, front punch while standing close to a dazed opponent. If done correctly, Baraka will stab his claws through the other fighter's chest and lift them up into the air. Next, he pushes the claws through their face and yanks them forward, causing the front half of their head and torso to peel away from the rest of their body. It's one of the more unique MK1 Fatalities, as most of the others tend to dissect kombatants lengthways across the torso or straight down the middle.
How to Perform Baraka's Second Fatality in MK1

Baraka's second MK1 Fatality can be performed by pressing forward, back, down, back kick from close range. If done correctly, Baraka will disembowel his opponent and launch them high up into the air. He then lights a fire on the ground and grabs the trailing intestines so as to suspend the body of his foe above it. As the other fighter is slowly cooked alive, Baraka and a bunch of other Tarkatan tear them apart and begin to eat them while they scream loudly in pain.
