Twitch streamer Mizkif has returned to One True King (OTK) following an investigation regarding an alleged sexual assault cover-up. The streamer took a leave of absence from Twitch and his duties as one of the co-founders of OTK a few months ago as the company conducted a third-party inquiry on the issue involving CrazySlick and Adrianah Lee.

In a TwitLonger statement in September, Lee recounted an incident at a birthday party in 2021 where CrazySlick allegedly assaulted her while she was passed out. She also accused Mizkif and his ex-girlfriend Maya Higa, who were CrazySlick's housemates at the time, of asking her to downplay what had happened to save CrazySlick's reputation. Mizkif later released a statement of his own where he apologized to Lee and admitted to downplaying the situation when it happened. OTK placed the streamer on unpaid leave because of Lee's accusations, as well as leaked conversations where Mizkif said homophobic and racist slurs, emphasizing that the company condemned all forms of sexual harassment, assault, and bigotry.

On New Year's Eve, OTK posted a statement to update the community that the Mizkif investigation had already concluded. After gathering the necessary facts, third-party law firm Jackson Walker LP said it found no direct evidence that the streamer attempted to cover up Lee's sexual assault. OTK, however, emphasized that there was also a lack of empathy toward the seriousness of the situation when Mizkif did his comeback stream in October. As a result, Mizkif has been suspended from his duties as an OTK board member but was still allowed to return to the company under monitored probation until he proves to his co-members that "he is capable of upholding our organization's values."

The Twitch community had mostly negative feelings about Mizkif's return, with many questioning the veracity of the third-party firm's findings and accusing OTK of simply investigating themselves. These are valid concerns, especially since OTK co-founder Rich Campbell resigned immediately after being accused of sexual assault, but Mizkif was able to return. But, as one fan pointed out, since the streamer is under monitored probation, it's quite possible that OTK would fire him if he's found violating the company's trust again.

As of writing, Mizkif has yet to address the OTK announcement on social media or on Twitch. There's also no knowing yet whether he will stream more often again now that he's back with OTK, but it's also unlikely that he would get the same positive reception from viewers after the whole ordeal.
