Minecraft players are known for creating some pretty crazy and impressive builds, but one Redditor, iDragolyte, has taken things to the next level. Through meticulous work and dedication, iDragolyte has sculpted an incredibly detailed T-Rex head in Minecraft using the help of in game tools like Voxelsniper.

iDragolyte says that the Minecraft project took around a month of work, claiming they worked on it around one to two hours a day intermitently. Community response has been unanimously positive, and many are amazed at what iDragolyte was capable of doing with software that wasn't fully meant for 3D modeling.

Click the image above to see a gif showing the process of creating this monstrous work of art. iDragolyte begins with a frame of sorts, building out the shape of the T-Rex in an impressive way, but what really amazes is the texturing and detail they add on after the frame is done.

At first glance, this hardly looks like it was made in Minecraft, as the level of detail is incredible. Unfortunately, iDragolyte said that although they originally had planned on creating the entire body of the dino to scale, the project would take too long and wouldn't be worth it.

Minecraft is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
