A Minecraft fan has shared their impressive recreation of Super Mario 64's castle in the game, complete with interiors. Peach's Castle is one of the most iconic locations in all of gaming, and this Minecraft tribute encapsulates it perfectly.

Despite Minecraft being released well over a decade ago now, its bustling community continues to impress with its enduring creativity. Due to the nature of Minecraft's near-limitless sandbox, many of these fan creations happen in-game. That only makes it more special when a fan figures out a way to bring Minecraft into their real life. One Minecraft fan even built a fully-functional furnace in real life, which is definitely one of the more practical fan creations.

Redditor GamaBuild showed off the impressive build, which shows the exterior of Super Mario 64's castle as players will remember it from the 1996 classic. Every single detail can be seen, down to the height of the outside hills. Perhaps more impressive is the interior, which has been built to scale in Minecraft. There's no doubt that Super Mario 64 is one of the classics, and as a result, plenty of tributes have been paid to it in the past. Super Mario 64's castle was built in Warframe just a few years back, and plenty of other games have seen similar recreations. Despite this, arguably none have captured the essence of Super Mario 64 quite like this Minecraft build, with the vibrant colors really sealing the deal.

The sandbox of Minecraft has proven to be a great place for gamers to pay tribute to other games over the years, and it's showing no sign of slowing down. A Stardew Valley fan is recreating the game's world in Minecraft too, and that's just the tip of the iceberg of some of the amazing creations the community has shared lately. No matter how many games come along and try to do the same thing as Minecraft, no one has been able to snatch the crown as of yet. It's simply too engrained in pop culture at this point to go anywhere.

Minecraft continues to offer a versatile experience that has something for any gamer. Creative Mode remains one of the best ways for players to flex their creative muscles, while Survival Mode endures with a ton of new updates to keep things fresh and exciting. Minecraft's recent Trails and Tails update introduced archaeology as a new loot system, and credit must go to Mojang for remaining so committed to the game after all this time. With regular updates, Minecraft wouldn't have such an incredible community, and without that community, creations like this wouldn't exist.

Minecraft is available for PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
