Every single detail can be seen, down to the height of the outside hills. Perhaps more impressive is the interior, which has been built to scale in Minecraft. There's no doubt that Super Mario 64 is one of the classics, and as a result, plenty of tributes have been paid to it in the past. Super Mario 64's castle was built in Warframe just a few years back, and plenty of other games have seen similar recreations. Despite this, arguably none have captured the essence of Super Mario 64 quite like this Minecraft build, with the vibrant colors really sealing the deal.
The sandbox of Minecraft has proven to be a great place for gamers to pay tribute to other games over the years, and it's showing no sign of slowing down. A Stardew Valley fan is recreating the game's world in Minecraft too, and that's just the tip of the iceberg of some of the amazing creations the community has shared lately.
