Over 10 years have gone by since Minecraft first debuted and hit digital store shelves, but with new updates coming to the game, players are still playing it regularly. Over the past couple of months alone, players have produced stunning Minecraft creations that wonderfully showcase the community's creative capabilities. Now, a new creation has risen to reinforce this notion, which perhaps stands among the most impressive compositions ever assembled within the game.

For the uninitiated, while Minecraft features bare-bones sandbox modes where the primary goal is to survive, those feeling more imaginative can use the game's creative mode. This section of the game lets players build whatever their minds can conjure, absent the looming threat of enemy mobs or lack of materials. All-in-all, this ease and open-ended freedom has resulted in the birth of some truly impressive Minecraft builds.

Speaking of which, one user known as Cheeseknife07 has recently revealed their brand-new series of authentic in-game naval vessels, which has left many members of the community stunned over the sheer scale of the production. Soon after posting, Reddit users immediately met these impressive constructs with over 3,200 upvotes on the Minecraft subreddit. Numerous users even checked by the comment section to praise Cheeseknife07 in their efforts and seemed to appreciate seeing such legendary vehicular symbols of history being virtually transported into Minecraft by the player.

The image shared in the Reddit post shows the player hovering in Creative mode to offer a complete overview of the colossal Minecraft creations. Amazingly, minor details like military insignia, antennas, and snorkels are present on each model even though the builds are so enormous. On top of this, the player went the extra mile to make the submarines faithful reconstructions of the Barbel, Permit, Sierra I, Seawolf, Los Angeles, and Victor I.

For those not too caught up on the history surrounding these Minecraft submarines, this assemblage of historically accurate designs is based on underwater crafts used by various nations during the turbulent Cold War era. The war, in short, was a period of geopolitical tension between the United States and the Soviet Union and their respective allies, which began following World War 2. Submarines played a pivotal function in operations throughout the period, as they could be used in gathering intelligence and harboring weaponry.

As a game with near-infinite replay value, there will always be new things for players to aspire to create and replicate in Minecraft. Displaying them for others to enjoy fun of building something in the first place, so it will be interesting to see what other inspired designs gamers can present to the community next.

Minecraft is available now on mobile devices, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
