Over 10 years have gone by since Minecraft was released, but it appears time has certainly not stopped many gamers from playing it still on a regular basis. After all, there are very few AAA games available on current hardware that offer the creative tools and freedom Minecraft does, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that over the past couple of months alone, players are still producing many stunning Minecraft creations that wonderfully showcase the community's creative abilities. Now, here to join that showcase, one talented player's incredibly complex yet monumental build draws from a galaxy far, far away.

As shown below, a Reddit user known as minogue5 has revealed their in-game interpretation of one of Star Wars' many galactic cruiser vehicles. Upon posting their creation onto the Minecraft subreddit, minogue5's recreation was quickly met with praise from the community, as well as supportive building tips in the reply section. In short, it seems that many gamers enjoyed seeing such an iconic structure from Star Wars being faithfully brought into Minecraft with passion and attention to detail.

This Minecraft crossover with Star Wars has it all. Based on the Venator-class Star Destroyer, also known as the Jedi cruiser, nothing gets cut in this build for the sake of time or simplification. Inspecting closer finds that minogue5 even went through the effort of building the hull armor plating's complicated scatter of neon-blue windows while also detailing the assortment of exterior armaments and bridges. Looking inside is just as impressive, as the cruiser contains many narrow hallways, a huge reactor room, a cafeteria with tables and chairs, a detailed hologram map, plus an air hanger that is loaded with several Republic gunships.

For those who have seen none of the mainline movies or cartoon shows, the Venator-class Star Destroyer has featured predominantly in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television program as well as Electronic Art's Star Wars Battlefront 2 video game. More recently, the Venator-class Star Destroyer made another blocky appearance in the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Although it cannot be piloted, it again shows up during the Clone Wars in Episode 2.

With stunning Minecraft homages to recognizable cinema icons frequently going viral within the community, there will always be motivation for players to aspire to construct more structures from pop culture. With sharing said designs being part of the pleasure of building something in the first place, it will be intriguing to see what other inspired designs gamers can deliver to the community in the future.

Minecraft is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
