A Minecraft player has found a clever way of using Fireworks as sprinklers in farm builds. Minecraft offers tons of items and blocks for players to mix and match in their creations, and this unique combination could be essential for crops.

When Minecraft was released, it already featured many of the items and blocks that are widely used today. This includes Redstone, TNT, and the Minecraft Enchantment Table, which remain common features for most players. Although they weren't available on launch, Fireworks were added to the game in a later update. They are often used to boost when flying with Elytra or as ammunition in crossbows, but they also produce colorful explosions when launched into the air. One gamer has an idea of using Fireworks as part of their farm build rather than as ammunition or fuel.

Minecraft Fan Has Genius Idea for Sculk Blocks

A Minecraft player has a genius build idea for Sculk blocks, which can be acquired in the underground Deep Dark biome or Ancient Cities.

Reddit user SnooWalruses1399 recently shared a video highlighting their clever use of Fireworks. The clip begins with the finished product, showing a blue Firework that resembles water exploding in the middle of an area of crops as a sprinkler may be used to hydrate the plants in the real world. This system is activated by pressing a button, and the gamer reveals that changing the amount of charges can optimize how big of an area the Firework will spread over. The player shows this idea working with three separate Minecraft Fireworks going off after pressing one button. The idea can also be applied to an overhead build that launches the projectiles downward, reflecting many sprinkler systems that are used to water crops.

What Items Are Required for This Minecraft Build?

  • A Bow
  • Blue dye
  • Cobblestone
  • Dirt
  • Gunpowder
  • Paper
  • Redstone
  • Seeds
  • Water
  • Wood

SnooWalruses1399's clip reveals how the basic Firework turned sprinkler system is created. The base of the structure is the Dispenser block, which holds Fireworks ahead of being launched. This block is topped with water, which actually hydrates the surrounding dirt, and the structure is encased in glass, making it easier to see. Each sprinkler has four Firework charges and a trapdoor on top to ensure that the blue explosion spreads out in every direction. Although Fireworks can damage Minecraft Survival players, this system is intended to be used from a distance and doesn't harm the crops. This idea was inspired by livestreamer PearlescentMoon, which the Reddit user credits in their video.

While Minecraft has had Fireworks for years now, this novel build may be an ideal concept for farm builds. As Mojang continues to update Minecraft, more items and blocks could further optimize this sprinkler system concept.
