A dedicated Minecraft player built all the existing armor trims in the game and shared the result with other players. Periodically Minecraft gets major updates in addition to the routine updates, which add significant content to the game. Recently Mojang has brought some exciting new features to spice up players' adventures.

Expected for months by players, Mojang finally released Minecraft's Trails and Tales update last month. One of the game's new features is the debut of the Sniffer, an adorable passive mob that won the Minecraft Live 2022 Mob Vote. Another feature of the update is the introduction of the Camels, mountable mobs so large that it allows Minecraft players to jump over fences and short walls. Minecraft's Trails and Tales update also added the new Cherry Grove biome, with cherry wood for players to use in their buildings.

Reddit user Pineapplesam17 built all the armor trims available in Minecraft and put the impressive result on a very informative display. Another feature introduced by Minecraft's Trails and Tales update is armor trims, which consist of patterns that give armor different appearances. The player has built complete armor sets for each armor trim, which players can find in chests or their respective structures. One example is the Coast armor trim, which can be found in shipwrecks. The player display features signs at the top with the names of each armor trim, making them easy to identify. The highlight of the list is Silence, the rarest armor trim in Minecraft with only a 1% chance of being obtained by players.

Armor trims have no impact on gameplay other than changing how Minecraft players look. Besides offering several layouts by default, armor trims can be further personalized if the player dyes the armor. It is even possible to dye parts of the armor with different items, like making the helmet blue and making the chest plate yellow. Because of the possibilities, the Mojang game community has already found creative uses for Minecraft's armor trims. But for the Minecraft player who doesn't know how each armor trim looks if dyed with in-game items, Pineapplesam17's display also shows the armor sets in different colors.

Armor trims are not the only new visual feature in Minecraft, as the Trails and Tales update brought a couple of appearance-related features. In addition to cherry wood, Minecraft now has hanging signs and allows players to collect Piglin heads for players to decorate their bases. Armor trims, meanwhile, bring Mojang's game closer to its RPG roots. They could even lead to an update of a related Minecraft feature to make the gameplay even more fun.

Minecraft is available for PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
