A Pokemon fan has created an amazing statue of Lugia in Minecraft. In Minecraft, players can create just about anything their creativity desires, and the results are drawing attention even from people outside of Mojang's game community.

Lugia is a Flying/Psychic-type Pokemon introduced in Generation 2 that is the mascot of Pokemon Silver. Master of the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, Lugia has a rather sad backstory, despite its noble role of defending the oceans. In all, Lugia has appeared in every game in the franchise except the Generation 7 games and the current generation with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In other media, the legendary has several appearances in the manga and some in the anime, the most recent being in Pokemon Evolutions. Lugia is a classic and beloved Pokemon by the community, also well remembered for its prominent role in Pokemon: The Movie 2000.

User VaporeonMaker shared on Reddit three images that show their Lugia statue created in Minecraft. Although the user did not provide the dimensions or how many blocks were used, it can be seen that this is a large-scale project with a significant degree of detail. Lugia has its characteristic look perfectly reproduced, including wings that resemble hands and the scales on its back. Thanks to the positioning of the blocks, VaporeonMaker was even able to reproduce shadows and some outlines. Patience is one of the main components for creating something in Mojang's game, and the creation of an ultra-realistic city in Minecraft is just one example of the sensational results of this patience. Pokemon Fan Designs Incredible Lugia Statue in Minecraft

VaporeonMaker's post on the official Pokemon subreddit has over 200 upvotes so far. In the comments, the player revealed that they did not use any mods: to bring the statue to life, VaporeonMaker used only in-game plugins, handwork, and reference images. Although the guardian of the seas is a second-generation Pokemon, Lugia still inspires artwork from many people, showing that the Pokemon is still relevant in the gaming world.

VaporeonMaker produced a beautiful statue of Lugia, which even though it is not the construction of a giant city or a medieval castle, is eye-catching because of its dimensions. At the same time, the statue gives off a certain air of nostalgia, as the first Pokemon games also had a "blocky visual" because of the graphics. Statue creation is one of the many activities available in Mojang's sandbox game because there is a lot to do in Minecraft. Thanks to this and other elements such as mods and texture packs, Minecraft has an incredible level of replayability, allowing unique experiences and numerous creative designs.

Minecraft is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
